finally able to make it POST and installed the driver. otherwise going get new mainboard.
my solution is flash back to first release BIOS 10. but i didn't try 11 and 12. for 13 and 14 tried no POST. |

you are right the Intel skulltrail board can do that. but if not mistake last time when I975 chipset also got ppl use hacked driver can run SLI on it.

i think so, i found many forums already have some ppls reported the Abit IX38 QuadGT + 4870x2 = NO POST. lucky the BIOS 12 work with problem.

use EXPERTool to do that. but can't adjust separately 2D and 3D.
btw, anyone found the 8.8 beta driver, when u GPU-Z then both GPU show up difference speed? and new 8.8 official driver show both same speed. and also the temperature also increased. for performance i don't know. |

always check the temp when you OC this card. and the Catalyst 8.8 still not really good support for this card. only think we can hope is next release of Catalyst 8.9

mine got funny on the GPU activity showed 524%
my temp for both GPU is 55c and 40c, fan manual set to 45%. |

just to tell you even u use 10x 120mm fans blow the card also no use la, because the fan in the original only run 27% so how much cool air it will suck into?

according to some forums, this monster need for 12v rail need 41a for complete system. the Corsair TX750 PSU should more then enough to power this card up.

i use profile manual set to 45% fan speed. full load 69c and idea is 50c.
