Those of u on tight budget but still want a proper Full Tower. There is hope. U need to go around n find an Enlight Full Tower case. It only costs rm200 brand new. If cant find then I'm sure u can ask the shop to order it for u. To c how the Enlight full tower looks like, click on Project Ch3@psk8 in my signature. It's a gigantic case with lotsa space at the cheapest price u can find. Of course mine is still the Ch3@p3st coz it's Project Ch3@psk8!

I know the feeling. Bcoz there was one time I got a really cheap wireless keyboard+mouse for <RM100, the owner just sell very cheap. Very brand new, still using right now. I quickly payed and run to may car.

Budget 500 buck (ok, maybe 600 if you need to push it). Help suggest some casing and psu combo thats as silent as it gets. Aesthetic value and brand doesnt matter. The rig doesnt need to be pretty or run cool. Its only for 24/7 torrenting. Current setup is too noisy to sleep with, and its 2 meter away.

For CPU I just bought a 60mm papst fan from allngap. Havent slap it on yet as I need to find some long screws (its 25mm thick, compared to stock fan 10mm). That fan is silent alright.

There's no case in this world that could operate at silent mode if the heatsink inside is like a blower ... screaming and humming loudly ..

Instead of focusing of the case, better research of silent cooler and fans ..

those are the root of noise rather than the case alone..

then only decide which case to get .. .

guys can i know does tj07 good for air cooling? how abt lian li v2000 compare to tj07? but i like the design of v1200 then the v2000...overrall i need some opinion abt tj07 and the other 2 lian li case

You want big spaces then V2000 or TJ-07 are about the same, however the price does differ ..

as for V1200 its a nice one if u just need a bit more space than standard atx case length ... it would be nice to fit in long graphic cards ...

however have to watch out for the length of sata cables that connect to the HDD, cos standard length at 45cm might not reach nicely ...

It all depend on ur other requirement as all three cases are good in cooling performance . . if u have more HDDs than better choose TJ-07.. if not V1200 would be just nice ...

hmm actually V1200 also nice if u got long sata cable .. but a easy cut would be getting TJ-07 ....

Easy and manageable and could do BTX mod for optimum modding like uncle Ian always does with TJ-07 ...

fan create noise. where is the fan?>>PSU, CPU, GC, casing fan.

check which one generate most noise. alternative is to use water cooling system. ur budget just enough to get a decent one.

yup...you can buy those cases at malaysia...so pretty and so pricey

Lowyat plaza is the ground to look for all these cases .. but u must have a sharp eyes to identify those goodies .. coz often it's hidden behind all those lower end cases.
