Guys, need help here! I use chapalang casing for my pc. (See my sig). The temperature is so high. CPU when loaded can reach up to 75o. (<40o when idle). Currently, my casing got one 12mm intake infront and 8 mm exhaust at the back. I thing it time for me to upgrade to new casing with good air flow.
My budget is <RM300. After doing some reading, these casings catch my eyes.
Gigabyte Triton & Poseidon. CoolerMaster CM690 Lian Li 007B
But personally, I like CM690 bcoz the price cheaper among other casing. Lian Li also also nice with all Alu. Both Gigabyte casing also Alu right?

As a Lian Li use fully aluminum, I also have consider the 007B. But from their website, it can support less HD compare to CM690 and smaller. But bcoz yesterday I happen to read the Lian Li league, I already being brainwash by the fans Ha....ha...

QUOTE(Doom @ Oct 27 2007, 03:50 PM) Those two giga case aren't using aluminum, I would suggest either go for CM690 or another Lian Li model that has good cooling property PC-A16... It also depend other factor that decide which case to use .. because one might want more HDDs space than CM690 could accommodate more without issue. QUOTE(Doom @ Oct 27 2007, 07:27 PM) If u want more HDDs space then u could choose A-16 and add another HDD cage .. it would allowed u to install up to 6 Hdds and no need to worry about over heat and noise issues.. The cage is great .... This A-16 you mention cost how much? Bcoz I don't see the casing in real life, make me harder to choose. Where in Low Yat can I see both the Cooler Master and Lian Li casing. Very hard to find casing in my town.

You can find full tower with RM250, please let me know. As far as I know, ALL Full Tower cost more than RM500, may be more. But with RM250 u still can buy some good casing which can support water cooling and spacious internal.

Not me, Zangetsu is looking for full tower with RM250 price tag. I think no need to get a full tower casing that has easy cable management and water cooling if your budget is tight.
BTW, I just saw that fesick put 1 fan over the HD. How you fix it? The vibration from the fan doesn't effect HD life span?

I know the feeling. Bcoz there was one time I got a really cheap wireless keyboard+mouse for <RM100, the owner just sell very cheap. Very brand new, still using right now. I quickly payed and run to may car.
BTW, what is the price for your modded casing now?

CM690 user here. So far this case have serve it purpose for me. My CPU and casing temp reduce more than 5°C. Nice design and spacious. But mind you that this casing is quiet heavy after all the installation.

If you move a lot, SECC casing is not for you. But my PC always fix under my comp table so have no problem. Also the price is cheaper if compare to Alu casing.

CM690 already have 2 hole at the back for water cooling. So, no need to mod.

What is the price of TJ04?
If compare to CM690, IMHO, CM690 is much better design than TJ04 with mesh front panel for better airflow.
