QUOTE(Materazzi @ Aug 1 2012, 08:04 AM) Why dont you work and study part time? My cousin only 26 got ccnp already work in sg earned 2.8k mang..rather than u no work, u missed the opportunity cost la..work exp is more important than just certification. And employers will place u at disadvatage position since u didnt work for long time. I've received two offer last month but cannot take it as it will need me to work on weekends. Now looking for 5 days full time working, thinking of joining non executives line as I need money to fund my master which the class will be held on weekend. Thinking of applying Giant, Tesco, Parkson, but didn't know either they will let me take the night shift on weekend as replacement for daylight shift or not ... So, since I'm free right now while searching for a job. Having another certifications could be consider as personal achievements. The question is which certs will give me more value.

I have already took 6420:Fundamental of Windows Server 2008 and currently my manager wants me to take MCTS Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring (Exam 70-640). I'm just wondering what code module do I need to take before sitting for Exam 70-640. Hoping someone could assist me..Thank you

QUOTE(clngu @ Jun 27 2008, 01:28 PM) don't be a "paper" qualified IT professional. with relevant qualification, skills and knowledge, you can excel in your career. RM10k-100K per month, no problem at all. nowadays, many industries is looking for multi-talented IT professionals. only equip yourself with technical qualification, you won't go too far. every soon you will hit bottleneck. your career is stuck. unless you are comfortable with that level of job satisfaction. in the end you just doing day-in day-out job, and you fall into second category/quorum of employee performance chart. haha. are you happy with your current salary and position ??? i only got comptia network + cert. currently 2 years experience in telco field as corenetwork eng. can you advise me which carrer path i should go??

Look for CBT Nugget video, read through the Microsoft books and you can take the examination of 70-640 anytime. Can be completed within 1 month.

So, What is recommended for electrical eng? Currently I work as a System Integrator for UAVs I aim to increase my value.
I have a few cert to begin with, basicly combination of Electrical+Mechanical+Software related.

Please advise. Thank you.

Why don't you consider taking ITIL Foundation course with GKK. They hv delivered many ITIL trainings to MNCs such as DELL and also public programs. Nxt public class is on sep 22-23 at best rate in town. you can find more details such as student marks, testimony and also pricing at : http://www.facebook.com/pages/GKK-ITIL-Con...160746877389297Jst like the page to view more info. so far said to be 99% pass rate coz one student out of around 200 trained failed Rgds, Anne

Anyone know where is the cheapest place/online/unofficial for GIAC training? Or other alternatives to get the course material or official books? Thinking of leasing the courseware from the professional GIAC. But, I didn't know anyone that are willing to lease their study material with an affordable rates .. USD 3,960 for a book and CD is too much ... it's about 10 times of my current allowances To this date, I've already completed 16 certifications but I'm looking for more challenges and better credential ... CISSP is another options, but I'm interested with GIAC as it doesn't have any prerequisite My interest right now are: 1) GISF - SEC301: Intro to Information Security 2) GSEC - SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style Thank you This post has been edited by Irzani: Feb 21 2013, 11:25 AM
