Bro,

Read Stuff mag for September issue and there is an article that showed how to turn our E71 to be used as a wifi hotspot. Awesome, man and it works too. You still need 3G to do this. Go to Joiku Sport. Can't remember the exact website but google it I'm sure you'll find it
*
it called JoikuSpot.
This is the light version (FREE): http://www.joiku.com/?action=products&mode...&product_id=310
got some restriction and annoying thing for freeware..

hey..

what do u guys use for IM? i m using fring ,but i find it abit not to my liking...any other suggestions?

would other softwares that are meant for other e 'series' phones gonna work on this e71?

thanks..
*
I used Window Live Messenger (ya...Microsoft own MSN Chat) and Fring.. I prefer Fring coz it had "fring call" which I can make voip call. Tried fring call at LCCT and Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) using their free wifi.. not call, clear and not much lag.

Other alternative are IM+, Turbo MSN, Palringo Instant Messenger and many more

Finally I found this thread!! wink.gif

1 big question I have. My company laptop is using Windows 2000 and APPARENTLY the PC Suite doesn't support Windows 2000!!! How am I going to sync and fully utilise my new bought E71??? And without that, I can't even install any cool program, am I right? HELP!!!
*
My company pc is using Window 2000. I install Nokia PC suite with no problem wo...

There are many way to install .sis application/game
1) Download the .sis using yr laptop.
2) transfer .sis to E71 by
a)use card reader to copy .sis from laptop to microsd
b) If yr laptop got bluetooth. U can send .sis to E71 using bt.
c) plug in the usb cable, choose "mass storage" in E71
d) Use E71 brower, go to the website and download the .sis and run from E71
3) Locate the .sis file in yr E71 and run from there.

I guess U are not familiar with symbian OS. Try to google more and learn. google is everybody friend... wink.gif

hey mike.. thanks for your clarifications... I tried again and blardy thing doesn't work. hmmmm... Mind telling me what's version of PC suite u r using?

And sadly my bluetooth on my laptop today is not working. Need to check with some IT ppl later.

Anyway, many thanks and hear again fr u.
*
latest version download from Nokia support page. I suspect yr IT guy set yr user privilege not to simply install and software.

Did u try the other method beside installing Nokia PC suite?

for celcom user. u just choose CELCOM MMS PREPAID/POSTPAID. either one.

and for email account. make sure ur account can enable POP3 thingy. so, obviously free email account from yahoo and hotmail are out of it already. unless u r using GMAIL, then just go to setting in ur email account and enable POP3 thingy. i forgot how to do it. but if u want it, i can dig out the link for u. just leme know.
*
I would suggest use IMAP for google if U want to use it. POP3 is more common but from my experience IMAP is better..smile.gif
