Well, if u ask for opinion here, definitely E71. cos its an E71 thread brother. But anyway, wat is your need? do u wan a smartphone that comes with a professional qwerty and good battery life as u are always on the go?----> E71, or u want a hip and cool design smartphone but no need for the professional look?----> E66.

1 point to make, flip phone has its limits, sooner or later the flip spring will become loose as u know, every hinges have its lifeline.
And if u read review, E71 is on par with Omnia except that there's no touchscreen. If touchscreen is indeed your choice, then definitely Nokia E series is out for you.

A lot of ppl including me prefer the black steel version as i'm always on the go, so dirt is a norm on my phone, so i opted for it as it won't get dirty quick. For the white steel, honestly it looks beautiful and pure, but I can assure u, if I were using it, before long, even the white steel will become black steel version. If u know how to take care of it then u get the white steel, try checking it oversea, the white steel version is actually more expensive abit.

P.S. One way for you to keep the keypad clean either black or white steel is to get the PDAir leather case from me.......

if there really is a new software update, then i guess there won't be a language barrier no more. just change product code and reflash it. Voila, u got urself one that can support the language u want but provided that the software is really available.

I went to a kawan's kawan's kawan's place..... so, i think he doesn't want to profit so much since he knew my kawan's kawan's kawan, and therefore my friend bought it for that price. My own set i bought original from Singapore.

KL already have the best of most things, so Penang shud have some once in awhile rite?

sometimes, not all region will have the update yet. possibly only certain region has it. So, if the region's product code u chose have it, then u can do so. As far as i know, my Singapore set no update yet.

Honestly, don't put too much hope in the camera improvements. most probably they jus change the layout of the controls.

The one thing I look forward to the new firmware is the Email settings. For now, the original settings available suck big time. Kinda limited option provided by the setup wizard. I sync with my office IMAP but seems to fail all the time, as connection cannot be established. real crap.

U very lucky to get the Finland set bro. Its the first grade. Best set available. But y never get another leather case for your gf? The red leather case look rather hip and chic for female user.

N-series and E-series cater to different group of users. I can see that headset is one of your important requirements when u buy a phone, maybe u should get another phone as I understand that E71 headset is crappy as it caters to business class which utilise the connectivity and email function, but for music purposes, I'm on Ipod.

I'll start with one, CCam is a good software for image capturing instead of using the native camera software. And no shutter sound which makes it discreet when you're cam-whoring without anyone noticing.

seriously, if we discuss, everything has its pros and cons, there's no autofocus on it yes but it silence up the irritating shutter sound. And there's no point saying its good or not. Honestly, if u have a better software do share here instead of just giving your honorable personal opinion and in then we're still stuck with CCam and u can go on and on about its cons but it takes us nowhere better than the position we're presently in. No offence man, but I'm trying to shortlist all good and recommended programs/software for E71 users to begin a new thread rather than discuss about the program itself. Let those who haven't try it get their hands on it at least until a better software can be found. Agree?

Yes, the old E-series, mainly the predecessor E61i is quite bulky, but you have assurance not jus from me, but from everyone in this thread, it is slim, solid, edgy, stylish, sleek, professional, lightweight, attractive..... and erm, let me add in "gaya, power, cun, mantap, segak" and watever complimentary terms that u can find to describe it.

U gotta hold it to love it, and love it to use it, and use it to feel it, and feel it to buy it, and buy it to understand it, and understand it to appreciate it.

But one thing, if touchscreen and good camera is your preference, then don hold, don love it, don use it, don feel it, don buy it, dun understand it, don appreciate it and ultimately leave it alone.
