Few questions guys
1- what software to install to watch youtube in e71
2- how to use the up down n centre button at the right side of e71? Until now i couldnt figure out
3- anyone faced the problem while surfing the net, the browser just suddenly closed? Luckily opera mini didn't.. This problem happened when surfing fantasy premier league website

Just disconnect your battery and sim card for 15-30 mins. I had "Unable to complete installation from memory card" issues and its solved using that particular way.

hello all. if i understand correctly, agps will help u lock on to location much quicker. can a maxis prepaid user use agps as i THINK u need 3g for that?

A-GPS will work with any type of connection, GPRS or 3G..

y nt???it doesnt related to whether u r postpaid or prepaid..it jus will charge on u...

maxis has both GPRS and 3G..regardless of prepaid or postpaid.

Added on October 19, 2008, 4:18 pmfinally a new firmware. its was just taking too long. hope they improve the camera picture quality. i dare not even take picture with it man. everything just looks purplish. suck to the max. only one complain. the rest are PERFECT.

Any possibility to force the AGPS to go on WiFi instead of GPRS or 3G or 3.5G?

possible if u remove/disable all access points except for the WiFi..

hi guys. i just got an e71 today from renee. rm1390 for ap telstra. everything looks good so far. turned it on since 4pm and was messing around with wifi etc until now.. its 1030 and still have battery. will charge it before i sleep.

i have a question. am trying to install garmin mobile xt now. the instruction says: Copy all content of MMC.rar into your sd/mmc

any specific directory or do i need to create any folder for the contents?

another one, can e71 be set to check hotmail?

last but not least, i'm new to symbian. and when i use nokia pc suite > file manager >, i see folders called:

activenotes
attachments
cities
data
documents
images
nokia
others
sounds
videos

why is it so messy ah? i dunno how to explain it.. but its very.. kelam kabut liddat.

I'm getting my E71 this week !

i'm not one of the E71 user but i wish i could have it one day..just one question, what influence you guys to get E71? is it because of trend or is it fit to your purpose? i just came back from jakarta couple of weeks ago and i can say that they are blackberry mania!..almost everyone has one blackberry bold..i assume that its just a trend having blackberry in jakarta without fully utilizing the functions except the blackberry IM..

sometime is not the functions E71 can offer.
Other might get it for it slim, long battery life, build, form factor and etc.

For me, I am ex-user of E series (E61i).. E71 is a huge upgrade compare to previous in term of faster speed, better keypad, longer batery life, a2dp..
Out of this 2 important feature is qwerty kb and symbian OS... once u got the qwerty kb on phone..u wont choose other non-qwerty phone..

yup that qwerty keyboard is one of the main feature of E71..i wonder how does it feel using qwerty keyboard on phone..gotta get this phone one day hopefully..

The qwerty keyboard is great but if you have big fingers.. then it'll be a slight problem as the buttons are quite compact and small.
One best thing about the E71 is the speed.. no problems with the phone running out of memory and the response of the phone is pretty fast..

Need help, I got a 'Sim Card Not Registered' error yesterday. It was solved by turning off/on the phone. Anyone got similar error msg?
