Latest update.

RBC KL site (located in KL sentral) with start it's operation in February 2016.

It will act as dual site. RBC KL and RBC Cyberjaya. Whatever KL have, Cyberjaya site willl have as well.

Transport allowance remained no matter where you are.

Bonus? so so only. Scope Int (Std Chartd) pay even more for annual bonus.

Somoremore, their PPA and bonus allocation is base on their "standard preference" ....one of the real story, an employee who get annual performance reward+quarterly performance award ,however his PPA only achieve average, just because he pissed off management.... shakehead.gif

Offer for interviewing =/= offer for job. Are you working in Std Chtd now? If not..just go for the interview

RBC Dexia provide fund valuations and investor related services to investors so typically, the work environment would be more on getting cash/stocks reconciliations done, pricing the assets and calculations of valuation of those funds. So end day, either you are working on daily funds or weekly funds or monthly funds, depending on what funds you are working on will drives how routine and process driven.

further this , this office is like a BPO or shared service so, expect to work shift work or start early or ends late / start late ends late that kind of work life.

for BA related, expect more if the organisation is spilt into multiple region where BA, Project team, technical team all sit in different places. You will likely need to co ordinate multiple teams plus local office and manage life cycle of various asset classes.

hope it helps.

pm me if you need more info

p.s. hsbc poaching, RBC dexia.... they are in the same sector. asset management>fund accounting. Most local banks and asset management companies in source or have internal department doing it.

For my interview at that time, it's more towards whether I know the scope of work. Example, the other day they asked me about the Loyalty Program, whether I familiar with that kind of subject.

As an ex-Fund Accountant from RBC, there's only one reason why any company would start mass hiring. I worked there for a year and I hated it and appreciated at the same time. Good place to train your mindset of not feeling self entitled cause of the inhumane working hours. Good pay tho.

Heya, if you don't mind sharing, what did you move on to afterwards? does the job not end on time? How much did they offer?
