I attended the interview last thursday. I have few friends went along too. The HR officer told us that they will contact us within this cuming week. That post the i applied is cash investigation officer. So is that means the chance that i will get the job is low as they didn't inform me immediately?? cry.gif

yeap ..investment bank..the name says it all..rbc dexia investor services..but for malaysia its more to middle (NAV calculation) and end ( global custody) operations.
custodian is the one who take care of the assets as in keep it and give it when asset managers want it back..of course with some charges..asset managers who decide where to invest and put the assets into which market..

thanks for the info Amir, then my next question is why need middle man (custodian) to hold the "asset"?
is it because for funds exceeding a certain amount to flow out it needs the approval of bank negara?
then we must be talking about huge multi-million deals blink.gif

dexia is not an investment bank. a custodian bank helps corporation/individual to watch over equities/bond/assets from investment bank. global custodian refers to investor services on foreign equities.

I second that. Its not an investment bank especially the entity on our shore. They do not engage in any advisory, research, trading or portfolio management activities. They are solely a custodian / trustee. But... the entity here is more of the mid and back office for their custodian and trustee business. They mainly do fund accounting as most of their trust accounts are for asset management firms. An example of a back to back Trustee in Malaysia would be HSBC Trustee.
