I attended the interview last thursday. I have few friends went along too. The HR officer told us that they will contact us within this cuming week. That post the i applied is cash investigation officer. So is that means the chance that i will get the job is low as they didn't inform me immediately?? cry.gif
*
it's been only 1 day so no need to worry lah ... I'm just saying based on my experience and a few other who got the job that they were informed the next day... anyway tomorrow is Monday so they may inform you if successful but if like wed/thu no call then u call them and ask ...nothing wrong with that biggrin.gif

QUOTE(amir77 @ May 28 2009, 01:07 AM)
hmm i think politics does exist in any company..
if u work in gov office ...so many malays...if u work in chinaman company..so many chinese..and so on...
so u want to work in an office which full of one race? how bout the others? i dun really understand when one race is dominating the company..the other group seems to be not satisfy etc etc..what kind of environment that makes everyone happy then?
im not saying that this co is the best place to work or flawless or something excellent but to be honest so far the overall political environment is not that bad. for some of you maybe your teammate or department have your own political issues..but overall i can say this co is much more better than the one across the road...

just my 2 cents tho..
peace
*
amir77 .... have you been at RBC long, coz i'm not sure if u are aware but across the road there's a lake/pond or something like that hmm.gif

Was among the first batch that joined .... i guess they should be a year old by now, anyway i left after a while because i felt that the company does not know how to appreciate employees ..... .. Always wonder why companies that set up operations in cyberjaya always seem to spiral down the same path... sad  sad.gif

QUOTE(lsh @ Jun 21 2009, 05:27 PM)
hi, what did u mean by they don't know how to appreciate employees?
*
hi lsh,

U'll be coming to RBC soon right? and i'm guessing ur a fresh grad? ..... I know RBC been getting hammered lately with negative comments from a lot of people but unless limYY has been working overseas or a fresh grad the reality is it's the same everywhere lah here in malaysia not only for companies in cyberjaya .... the concept that the employee is a partner or an asset working towards a mutual goal of success for both parties is always said but never practiced ..

just come and take it as an experience for your resume that's all... it's not like you are looking to retire here ? biggrin.gif

hey david,

Are you working at RBC ? Anyway fyi I'm not a fresh grad and all my work experience has been local also, so i am not so naive to believe that this company is the utopia of the working world in this country, after all it based here in MY so eventually it will follow the "attitude" of most things local but what I'm saying is that everything has a degree to which it measured, some being more than others. Otherwise how does one place a value on something in this world ???? Think about it  biggrin.gif ..... anyway you're right about the last bit, good or bad the experienced gained by that guy will help for his future endeavors...
*
i think i know the point that you are trying to make .... so maybe ur right ..... laugh.gif

i thought all employers should go through the contents in the offer letter with the candidates before signing?

yes... what they want you tell you only, not the fine print so always ask more then what they explain biggrin.gif
