ah the return of the fantasy prop trader.

you barking up the wrong tree for PT lah bodoh.

Msia too tight regulations for foreign funds to base their trade ops here but that is not a bad thing totally.

wah... so garang....i seriously hope u r not talking about me shocking.gif

Hey,

Did you guys read the post by farah80 regarding the bond by employer , she seems to be in a almost similar situation like you especially those selected to go overseas for training , she accept job that need to send her overseas for training and on the day she start they give document to sign she need to pay back the training cost if she quite within a year or so .....

Did you guys ask about the full terms and conditions before starting and believe most of u haven't started yet right ?? just don't want u guys to be caught off guard ... and end up in the same sticky situation ..... blink.gif

Venturi,

I seriously do not think that is how they gauge "top employers" the that major job placement website, actually from what i gather those listed in these categories seem to have year long vacancies in their company and almost always for the very similar post after a few months has lapsed. So maybe it's the repeat business that getting them " the front page billing" instead of very positive feedback from employees .. think about it hmm.gif

As I m attending the 2nd interview on this Wed, so hope that someone may provide some clues for me...hehe..

thx... biggrin.gif

Hmm, Just noticed the reply. Must be talking bout me then haha...

yea yea just my fantasy.

Quite shocked that you actually said that there are no prop trading in Malaysia while you claimed to know each and everything about Malaysia Investment banking?

Try check out CIMB website Equity Investment & Trading, the department I'm in now.

ZzZ....OMG again, i just noticed his question about prop trading n such long ago.

Sorry MR. TXI or whatsoever.

I'm not always infront of computer surfing around forum, catching every single replies like you, trying to flame, advertise and show off you past in investment banking. (anyway is the past)

If you are a successful investment banker, you wouldn't have the need to work now at your current age. (I assume you are late 30s since you claim to be well experienced)

If you do know IB culture as you claimed to be, most of the time I'll be staring at Bloomberg terminal and reading research reports since I'm on the buyside.

Do I still need to explain what is prop trading? I can even tell you every single futures contract tickers that I'm trading, either long or short position.

My turn to ask you question, what is QZJ9,IKJ9,IHJ9,HCJ9,HIJ9,NIM9,KMM9,TWJ9??? Please don't act as if you know every single damn thing in the industry and promote your nonsense blog. We're here to share and help, not for business.

Sorry guys, this is the 1st time I actually flamed someone in the forum, before I realized his post, he actually got my respect for helping people to get into IB. Although some facts that he mentioned like direct-entry are much better than management trainees and such wasn't that accurate.

Management Trainee programme is a much better choice compared to direct entry as HR will help you in your corporate ladder journey. You will always get the priority in all sort of internal opportunities because you brought up by the HR programme, is one of their top KPIs.

I don't mind you go do some research or ask your friend before answering me if you can't tell it out straight.

Next time pick the right one to flame, or just STFU and leave the forum.
