I just want to ask something regarding GPS in phone. Is all GPS the same? coz i came across TomTom GPS and something like that.... and what will be the most common GPS that used for every Phone GPS? Is still what recommended by Baronic and  phylem_hao applicable for those GPS that works in europe as well?

I got nothing to add since booster and phylem said it all. lol. nice to see additional helpers in this thread. now i can go for end of year holiday with peace of mind haha

Frequent Overseas traveller to Japan and US? or other countries:  No

Camera Resolution minimum: > 3 MP (Preferably with auto focus)

Expandable Memory: Yes

3G : Yes

HSDPA or higher: Yes

Front Camera: Preferably Yes but I doubt will use it at all also

Gaming Type: Heavy Gaming

Screen Resolution: I dont give a hoot

@blademaster, with that budget its hard to get a reliable PDA. period. so any recommendations will be relatively good, but that doesnt mean its "good". hope i make sense.

u dont have much choices and if its a pdaphone u want, those two do fit the specs and budget. that said, they are still pretty unreliable and prone to hanging.

my personal suggestion = up your budget to either Dopod D810 or Dopod 838pro second hand. at least u can keep using it even for a few years.

otherwise, if i were u, i'd stick to using a normal phone : /

Dopod 838Pro is only having 400Mhz.

O2 Atom Exec is having 520Mhz

But O2 Atom Exec not as reliable as Dopod 838Pro?

I prefer Dopod ya cos they are more reliable they are made by HTC

Camera Resolution minimum: 2MP or more? Not really an issue

Expandable Memory: Yes if the internal memory is low capacity, no if the internal is big enuff

Front Camera: Preferable yes

Gaming Type: Light gaming ( important is I'm not a gamer )

Screen Resolution: Any that is looks good...


Special Request :
At least Windows Mobile 5, not lagging, no long term problem, and is cost effective. Budget is the constraint.

@blademaster, on paper, the O2 is faster. But as it does not have 2D or 3D acceleration that additional 120MHZ matters squat. so ignore it. in terms of stability i say go for Dopod 838pro.

Baron, may I know the reason you suggest to stay away from Touch HD for heavy gaming application? Touch HD comes with the spec. on par with Touch Diamond and Touch Pro right?
