squal7, for non samsung or LG with qwerty, no brand new models that are good less than 2k.

however, i recommend u remove qwerty requirement, get HTC P3600i. very fast and pretty stable PDA.

@cosmiczone, the HTC P3600i is a very good choice actually. It fits all your requirements perfectly. Other models dont really meet your requirements, or if they do, i would recommend HTC P3600i over them anyway

of all the pdas for international use, HTC i suppose should be your best bet. With your generous budget and requirement, we can easily work something out.

i recommend the HTC Touch Cruise. It has everything you require, PLUS GPS. If you can top up about a hundred bucks you could also get the HTC Tytn2 with qwerty keyboard.

However, if you wish to lower your budget, and not spend all of it, you can also settle for HTC Touch 2, or HTC Touch Dual. Non HTC devices i dun really recommend since your priority is after sales service. If you intend to use this device long term, enquire from HTC about extending your warranty

HTC Touch does not have inbuilt GPS. I recommend the HTC P3600i. the standard resolution should let u install the apps u wanna install easily.

with no GPS no 3G options, and a relatively generous budget, i can basically almost recommend u anything off the shelf. but i'll give u a personal recommendation based on stability and proc power.

HTC Touch 2. An interesting choice for u as it fits all requirements, plus XDA developers seem to have been able to somehow get the hidden GPS chip working. HTC Touch 2 is not advertised with this chip, but apparently its there and HTC silenced it. But they've managed to hack it to get it to work. However, if it fails, it still meets your requirements. and yes, it had good stability and decent proc power, with tried and true design as well. rubberised plastics are scratch resistant
