Real investors are not stupid, even at 13.5cts, its expensive if you are to convert. Call warrants only goes up if MOTHER share up.

My target BIMB @ 1.50~1.55, then the CA will be at 10-11cts

To be honest with you, the current bimb-ca is actually worthless. Current premium standing at 17%+
I would only personally recommend you to go in if:
a) BIMB go up like steam
b) Premium is hovering less than 5% with 100+ more days to go.

Ya, I also dare not to touch now, unless you are pretty sure in few months, the mother will surge greatly. Though I have confident in BIMB, but in 7-8 month time to rise so much, there is still a risk there...

This new listed warrant is too risky already.
Expiry on December.. Means, anticipating mother share to reach rm1.9+ at December.. Current standing at 1.5x and lingering at 1.6x..

thumbup.gif Yes, I believe that BIMB will goreng up to $2++ by December to allow the warrant holders to convert them.....yes BIMB definitely wants to collect the extra $160 million as it's funds. If it's less than $2++ by December, nobody wants to convert their warrants & BIMB will be the SOLE LOSER.....so to get the best out of it's issued warrants, BIMB needs to goreng up to $2++ to make it worthwhile.....so isn't this the sensible thing to do with having to gain the extra $160 million cash without having to borrow $160 million to use as working capital......just my 2 cents worth. whistling.gif

PS.....yes, the extra FREE $160 million to collect will come in handy as it's working capital without resorting to borrowings......correct me if I am wrong please. notworthy.gif .......just take the recent E&O warrants as an example...last minute goreng up higher it's mother share to allow the warrants holders to convert......YES, I bought plenty of E&O warrants cheap [ 1 or 2 days earlier before ex date] at that time & am converting them thumbup.gif

wub.gif Cheers to all......good luck too to all the BIMB investment holders here......btw, if you have extra cash, do top up on BIMB now please as you might gain extra profit by December 2011. rclxm9.gif rclxms.gif

BIMB got warrants? If its call warrants aka -CA you're talking about then the BIMB has no interest in it whatsoever.

Issuer is AMBANK. It is more 'favourable' if BIMB shares is low enough at the end of the -CA tenure because that way AMBANK can make money from the -CA issue. If BIMB shares goes above, then AMBANK need to pay out the difference.

BIMB as a company has zero effect whether the -CA is in or out of money. So I don't think this will affect BIMB price movements.

But if it is -WA kind of warrants, then it's different as it is more advantage for company which issues it for investors to convert the warrants.

-CA is for punting issued by 3rd party banks as a derivative and -WA is for raising capital issued by the company itself. Buy -CA if you think the underlying share is going up.

Cheers to all. smile.gif
