although i never use WM device yet, but from omnia interface, it seem mr. samsung manage to cover up the ugly WM interface with nice outer shell (crox UI)..the only thing quite letdown for omnia is its screen resolution..if they make it vga, it will be really nice

I recalled from reading PPCSG forum, it does come with Mobile Office editor.

Actually the specs in GSM Arena have been updated, here.

I went to the Midvalley Samsung center court promotional booths yesterday and I asked about the Omnia. Got some contradicting information from a few sales person. One said it will be next month while another said it should be early next year. Pricing will be around RM2500-3000 which is very pricey. Singapore is selling these without contract for $1098. In the forums, people getting the contracts are selling $900~950 for a completely new set.

Hi ericchan,

Are you in Singapore or Malaysia?

If the buyer is from Malaysia, does whymobile.com ship to Malaysia?

Well, just hoping you might be able to answer it. smile.gif

pricing not bad from that website. however if send to malaysia, the price doesnt differ much from the ones selling here.

16gb for SGD 1020 is tempting.. but if see clearly, shipping to Msia = SGD 1130.. = RM2700++ shocking.gif but still better than the overhyped iphone 3g...

Thanks Seaedge and ericchan for the explanation. I missed the details. Maybe I will ask my Singaporean friends to buy for me, and bring to Malaysia. smile.gif But warranty will be a concern. sad.gif

Not so serious kua... I am using Touch Diamond and the battery so far lasted me for 1 and half day use. If I use it vigorously, it still able to withstand one day. Maybe your friend uses the GPS a lot? Then probably yes because it can only withstand 2 hours of use (standstill) and we're not talking about moving around yet.

There is A GPS on the phone. Lock on time for the first time took me abt 10 mins. After that it's quite fast, 2-3 mins it will lock on.

heavy usage last abt a day, if not light usage, abit more than 1.5 days.

Comparing the web browsing experience with iphone, it seems that on the omnia u got to press a bit harder on the web links before it loads to the page. When you want to enlarge the page, you can double tap on the screen or use your finger to brush the right side of the screen.

lol.. either e71 or diamond... looks like a good deal if buy directly from there...
others, price quite similar over here.. except c902 which is slightly higher...

damn i offtopic again

i900 omnia is good.... sweat.gif
if i would take i900, i will just get 8gb version. 16gb is not that i dont want but i dont need. 8gb looks like can store most of the thing i need. others, i leave it to my upcoming laptop...
