QUOTE(kanishen18 @ Nov 26 2008, 11:28 PM) what i mean is pretty simple... no weight training... nothing intense like sprinting tht could lead to muscle loss!!! anything involving muscle meaning you're solely working your muscle instead of pumping your heart!!! big improvement from 2 or 3 weeks ago.anyway here's my fat loss progress and increase of lean muscle mass throughout my 2 weeks... im keeping my night meal small so tht i can really start my day totally fresh with light cardio but at times craving comes in... i do follow my weight workout routine as what registryeditor says... keep your workout intense... i keep my rest 30 seconds for the regular exercise and 40 seconds if im doing supersets... the only downside to this kinda regime is tht you can't lift as heavy as you can actually push cause short rest pumps your heart pretty fast and not easy to push heavy as your muscle fatigues fast... but you can definitely feel the pump and hardness due to the constant blood flow... here's my pic after a a week plus of morning cardio... not bad... could see obvious difference and i only skip.. really wanna do jogging in the morning but due to certain circumstances... ![]() nice abs This post has been edited by uhuk-uhuk: Nov 28 2008, 12:10 AM |

QUOTE(kurtkob78 @ Jan 1 2009, 09:35 PM) haha i dun have a fixed diet but i avoid the obvious bad food like fast food (i just had pizza hut to welcome the new year though haha)i try to keep my dinner light too (5 scoops of oats + 2 bananas + 1 serving of whey). my workout is simple la. weights 4 times a week and cardio (jogging) ranging from 0 to 5 times in a week haha last time i focused more on cardio to get rid of the stubborn fats but now i'm trying to get bigger now so i limit my cardio Added on January 1, 2009, 10:49 pm QUOTE(diablokun @ Jan 1 2009, 10:23 PM) as a beginner, i salute your achievement bro haha thanks.i agree that my shoulders need some extra mass and definition. i can only lift very light weights when it comes to shoulder exercises and even with that amount of weights, i always tend to injure my shoulders. will try to improve and hopefully after CNY i would be able to post some better pics This post has been edited by uhuk-uhuk: Jan 1 2009, 10:49 PM |

QUOTE(emino @ Jan 5 2009, 07:35 PM) Got my measurement taken by instructor today... I'm kinda scared to see the result coz I thought my body is getting smaller due to food poisoning followed by 2 weeks vacation from gym (1 week for helping preparing my bro's wedding, another week becoz the gym instructor took his yearly vacation and the company policy is nobody allowed in the gym if theres no trainer). got progress la.Heres my result: ![]() I seem to have better results than the first 10 months (14-1-2008 - 10-10-2008) compared to only 2 months (10-10-2008 - 5-1-2009). Its slow, but its progress for me. The legs measurement are the same since I'm kinda neglecting it. This year resolution is not skipping any single leg rotation lol. Its still kinda slow, but its progress I guess. ![]() Here what I look like today. Still damn skinny and stuck at 55/56 kg. not so bony dy haha |

@pizzaboy
haha i agree that it's gonna be really hard to gain 15kgs in 2 months but i'll just give it a go la. i always stuff myself with rice, wholegrain bread and chicken but yet my weight increase has been slow. @mofonyx thanks! @sprix thanks! haha there are no secrets. i only control my diet and hit the gym. @tengster thanks! hope to achieve my rather far-fetched goal. @shaunhsc thank u! the side belly is really frustrating to have and now thanks to CNY, it's starting to emerge again @diablokun thanks! i'm about 184 cm @2way i cut for 2 months and only 3 weeks ago did i start bulking @kurtkob78 thanks bro! i did HIIT when i was cutting. saves time haha @disciple thank u! i took a bottle of lipo6 for the first one month of cutting and i found that it was working. will purchase another bottle when i reach my bulking goal. QUOTE(Neek @ Feb 2 2009, 08:40 PM) good progress so far. ur cutting went very well thanks for your compliments bro!to put on 15kgs in 2 months is not entirely recomended... there are articles around saying that should only put on 1lbs of weight a week. anyting much more than that would more likely to be fats. and even out of that 1lbs/week, its also both muscle and fats... which is more is depending on the body's nutitiion partitioning profile, current bf%, wrokout/training activity, age and also body type. so if 1lb per week, 2 months is about 8 weeks.. shd be 8 lbs kua... but this is whats recomended la. i lost the website link dy, it was bookmarked in my old pc -.-" just curios why 90kgs by march? whats the rush anyway? bodybuilding is a lifestyle, no great deal to rush into things... but again, great progress so far actually i set a 3-month time-frame to complete my bulking but now that my weight gain is so minimal, maybe i gotta revise the duration haha. now that u've reminded me that it's a lifestyle, yeah i'm gonna chill a bit and see how things go. i totally had that out of my mind lol i'm really gaining much more fat than muscle now. thanks for your advice. gotta reconsider my bulking plan haha |

QUOTE(pizzaboy @ Mar 2 2009, 04:46 PM) She just answered you. Different people have different goals. Weightlifters would most definitely want to be strong, size is secondary, or maybe even insignificant.If you're wondering... a weightlifter can be a powerlifter or a bodybuilder. A bb'er can be a powerlifter or a weightlifter. A powerlifter, can also be a bb'er or a weightlifter. It's not impossible. Only thing is that pl'ers and bb'ers, can have a hard time adjusting their flexibility level (especially rotator cuff) to the level required by weightlifting. And on the question of why I'm small...it's because I weigh 77KG'S and I'm 5'10". I'm underweight for my height. Besides that, I'm those guys that believe in athleticism. I feel our bodies were made to defend itself from harm. Thus to have a tremendously gigantic body but you can't even throw a punch, jump a meter, run, you're not flexible enough to twist and roll...you're about as useful as a fried popiah roll. I don't mind having size gains, but it will have to come from the activities I do that requires an increase in muscle mass to continue sustaining my improving performance. Taking that I squat 180KGs today. If my body just NEEDS an increase in muscle mass to hit 220KG'S, then I'll be happy to have an increase in calories and grow. If it doesn't need that increase, why the heck should I let it? MY body's not maximized it's CNS yet. Besides, it's far more impressive to see a 77KG'er clean and jerking 200KG'S than it is to see a 94KG'er, CNJ'ing 200KG'S. At 94KG, you're almost EXPECTED to CNJ 200KG. At 77, to CNJ 200KG'S an amazement. Why look strong, when you're weak? You'd be about as tasty as that lobster with no flesh. Bodybuilders might be big but they could be weaker than weightlifters. But hey, what they want is size, strength is secondary, or maybe even insignificant. |

Congrats emino! I believe that this would motivate the others to train harder, post their pics and one day be able to appear on a local newspaper. |
