QUOTE(braindead_fr3ak @ Apr 12 2009, 05:23 PM) ahhah... exactly... as long as u dun bounce the weights on ur chest..keep good form during the exercise.... Its not wrong, just dangerous. Your stabilizer muscles at your hips, legs and feet are taken out. But I think you could bench more with your feet on the ground although I agree with you that it is certainly more comfortable that way. and when i was lifting...the last rep almost fail.. i had to counter balance the weight using all my muscles.... this is almost my 1 RM... if fresh i think i can do 75.... Its a SE W910i btw Disciple. |

Noted. Haven't been putting on weight, lost weight in fact. From 78kg to around 74kg now. But I noticed I'm getting a bit bigger and more toned. Lats are coming real soon. Been neglecting them and legs for a long while now. I need someone to hold the camera for me while I strike a lat pose though so its really tough...
Puke day tomorrow (legs). Gah. |

Usually they sell in 10kg's. Anywhere should be the same. I bought the 10kg adjustables but eventually got another 4 5kg ones. Any fitness shop should be around the same. If want cheaper, scout at Jusco or Tesco.

QUOTE(noone @ Apr 23 2009, 12:04 AM) How is your guy progress rate if u think that u are ectomorph? If someone look ectomorph but after improve his diet and working out he gain weight/muscle and strength with fast rate, is he still categorized as ectomorph? or probably mesomorph actually? There is a guy created an ectomorph group in bb.com, he stated that he started work out on 1999 (i dont know when he fully committed) but his latest pic look like 6 months progress of some beginner here. I woudn't say its a problem. Your commitment shows your progress. And yea, you can't change your body type whether you are ecto, meso or endo. You can just change your body. Below is wrist pic of a 175++cm tall ectomorph who joined gym over years and gained weight from 50kg to 73kg, but i think he look like 60-65kg only and most just weight, a few muscle. Other than small wrist, when he try to spread his finger you will see his bones very clear. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Most ectomorph have this problem too? @alzaim- Reps, sets, weights, exercises. Again bodybuilding is all about feel. You could go low reps with heavy weights, high reps with low weights, low weights until failure, heavy weights till failure etc. Change your routine every few months, choose the best routine that can shock your muscles. |

I rather do arms than legs. Legs make me feel like puking all the time.

But width is hard to come by. I do all of those. For me I find pulldowns really effective, but they just don't grow. ... But then again I only work my lats when I can afford to go to the gym.
I can't do pullups and pulldowns in one workout session. There's a sharp pain between my traps in the upper back area if I do pulldowns after pullups. Dunno why. |

QUOTE(Florian @ May 3 2009, 12:16 AM) Wah, skinny. Those aren't my ribs, they're obliques. I don't consider myself skinny. Average yea. Will bulk when I get a job after my A Levels in June. No money for supplements. But if that's your choice then go ahead, but personally I think you would look better (and stronger) if you were to bulk. Yea, I have 2 pullup bars at home. Rarely do tho. Will start pumping pullups tomorrow. |
