Whats the max stable OC using Stock voltage and stock intel HSF for E7400??
is 3.5ghz to 4ghz possible?? using a g31 chipset from asus or gigabyte with 4gb ddr2 value ram 800 bus??

if i raise the voltage to 1.35v can then whats the max stable oc i can get??
again using g31 chipset and 4 gb value ram ddr2. this time using stock hsf or cm hyper tx2??

I want 4.0 ghz thats my limits for e7400 is it possible?

Try yourself,no one have answer for this question unless you test yourself

agreed . different proc, different stepping, different oc, different vid, and the list goes on .... no precise answer

i managed to reach 3.3GHz with my E7300 with stock vcore... that is the best i can go with stock vcore..i guess E7400 cn do better...

yr E7300 stable at 3.3 onot? i guess yr FSB is 330x10?

i'm pumping my E7400 with stock Vcore and stock HSF.. see how far it can go.. now i m at 3.0.. still going..

cool.. so how's the temperature? using stock cooler or 3rd party cooler?

using stock cooler with tx-2...the idle temp is around 39 to 41

idle temp wont hav much temperature difference between OC n non-OC.. my concern is about the load temperature..

anyway, wat mobo r u using?

my full load temp is a bit high...around 65 to 75....need a better cooler i guess... i'm using DFI blood iron p35

ya.. load temperature will definitely be high using stock cooler.. i stop at 3.2Ghz cz i dun wan my proc temperature to exceed 65°C.. will get a cooler soon..

E7400 user reporting in.

If I use a stock cooler OC to 3.49Ghz (266 x 10.5) when I ran Prime95, my temperature can reach 90+ celcius!

I bought a Coolermaster Hyper TX2 cooler, rat the test again and the temperature only reaches 62 celcius.

But the idle temp for both stock and TX2 is quite the same. 42 celcius.

no e7500 user reporting in?

i think the most users in this series is E7200 and E7400.. so how's yr E7500? ok? got OC?

i'm just using e7300... i just wnt to see some result from e7500 users..
