Hi Whats the max stable OC using Stock voltage and stock intel HSF for E7400?? is 3.5ghz to 4ghz possible?? using a g31 chipset from asus or gigabyte with 4gb ddr2 value ram 800 bus??
if i raise the voltage to 1.35v can then whats the max stable oc i can get?? again using g31 chipset and 4 gb value ram ddr2. this time using stock hsf or cm hyper tx2??
I want 4.0 ghz thats my limits for e7400 is it possible?

ya.. load temperature will definitely be high using stock cooler.. i stop at 3.2Ghz cz i dun wan my proc temperature to exceed 65°C.. will get a cooler soon..

E7400 user reporting in. If I use a stock cooler OC to 3.49Ghz (266 x 10.5) when I ran Prime95, my temperature can reach 90+ celcius! I bought a Coolermaster Hyper TX2 cooler, rat the test again and the temperature only reaches 62 celcius. But the idle temp for both stock and TX2 is quite the same. 42 celcius.
