for expensive toy errr i mean phone, always buy ori or from big AP company.

i just got an SE k810i, AP Set, and there are a few things that made me feel not quite comfortable   this is the first time i buy myself a hp (previous hp was a gift and had been using it for 5yrs), so not sure about the things below..

1st, when i receive the new handset, it came with the box, but it is not wrapped. i thought the whole box should be wrapped and not opened before until i unwrap it, isnt it..?

2nd, the IMEI number on the box does not match with the IMEI number in the phone system. i have done some searching in LYN and found that this is quite normal for an AP set, so i guess this is ok... the IMEI number match with the one at the back of the phone though..

3rd, i thought there should be a warranty card from sony ericsson, but instead what i found is a warranty card from a private company shown below:

- card inside (promoting games, wallpaper, ringtone etc):


- card outside (details about warranty):


as u can see in the pic, the company say in order to get the warranty, i need to send them an sms. but according to the dealer who sold the phone to me, he say no need to sms the company, just send the phone to him to repair it.  the dealer does not work in the company, i think. i got it from his shop in PJ and i noe him thru another friend.

so, what i wana ask is, are all these things normal, or did i get conned...?  and btw, should i send the sms to the company for the warranty (with the risk of getting spammed and charging my credit) ...?

bro, there are a lots of ap company in malaysia. in my place alone, there are around 5-8 ap phone supplier....
of course, i looks for those being around for at least 3 years in market (if more than 3 years in market, their creditibility is quite good already)

sometimes must gamble maa... am also still looking for a nice AP phone budget RM 700-850. Currently got my eyes on N73ME but then K810 seem tempting. But am not that fan of SE phone cuz the UI not that familiar.
