Specially made VGA games and VGA compatible games running flawlessly. I'll be testing the Graphic Acelerator using Call of Duty as a comparison soon. Note that Touch Cruise and Tytn2 could NOT play Call of Duty, extremely laggy, even on the lowest settings.

I just called the PDA shop in Queensbay Mall. They have like 9 units in stock and selling at RM2799. Do you guys think 2799 is the best priceto get this kid? as they mention it will not come with any car kit............................ I think they might offer RM2799 with car kit soon.

If other phones i might say yes wait

But this phone/pda has created such a big interest and looking at HTC projection, i guess it will stay steady for quite a while

nah for sure it wont come with car kit. Others is purposely bundle with car kit like Touch Cruise, the entire box is including car kit. 1 package. and every where in the world also same. they cant simply give a free car kit, unless the seller give himself, not SIS. WHich would be a cheap 20 bucks car holder and 20 bucks car charger. Ori one costs Rm 100-180

is the shop owned by yeap?
well depends la..if u cant wait, take the plunge...but personally i think just wait a few weeks first, lets get reviews from other users, see if there are any problems...besides, few weeks down the road, maybe you might get a better offer?

i heard that if ur diamond is in standby mode...and a sms comes in, it wont vibrate/ring but the scroll wheel would flash...some users say they hv this prob, some say their's dont hv it. also, some sites are reporting that the diamonds have been held back due to software fix..so i would rather wait....

I'll be testing MY normal usage, which is 1 sms to and from every 10 mins (gf ma lol). A LITTLE bit of soft core gaming, like bejeweled 2. Tytn2 usually gives me 20-30% by 7pm (start 9.30 am)

Using the diamond now, i'm optimistic it WILL be at least close to tytn2. Diamond is programmed such a way that the backlight fades off VERY VERY fast, so saves a whole lot of power.

Added on June 6, 2008, 2:35 pmstay tuned to the SECOND post in this thread for a review. I'm gonna comment a bit on the Touch Flo 3D lagginess

Yeah it is yeap's shop, i bought my cruise from him as well.

I just got my cruise sold on time. Need a GPS with me now. I definitely will go over and check it out after work. So, how is battery life? From my point, I always have my cruise stay above 50% Battery life for normal use and charging when i am in GPS mode and home.

well, touch3d already tested via youtube at prototype with 128mb only, and it didnt suffer any hang. now with 192mb and most probably 64MB is dedicated for touch3d alone..? seeing this, i guess touch pro will be the same if not better... smile.gif

I am banking that the touch pro's spec do hint alittle bit bout winmo7 in terms of requirement and the touch pro's capability to run winmo7 when its being released tongue.gif

now first impression is good. exploring the pda is nice.
left telephony, audio(which i think hard to say or u could just test playback at a noisy enviroment), camera, and connectivity(which i think it is standard).
those review ones is actually prototype, so mostly there will be differences with the commercial ones.

i usually have a quote for this. If it is useful enough, i dont mind it being bulky. besides, how bulky it is compare to previous phone of mine XDA IIs, XDA IIi, O2 miniS and 9300? smile.gif

I usually like slim devices but if its functional enough i dont mind it being bulky too
Sadly i find it stupid to have a keyboard but no tilting of the screen
Hence i am skipping the touch pro

The same reason why i didnt mind the tytnii's bulkiness

But the touch pro oni slide in and out makes it stupid to use the keyboard imho
