Anyone having GPS problem on Diamond? I can't get a "fix" on satellite when GPS starts. In order to make it work, need some workaround way which is superb superb stupid.

GPS Settings are all fine (how bad could it be on the GPS settings since it's all by default "working"), change port and so won't work, i have some technique search thru online which will work but it will cost me a lot of time on doing it, it's too tedious and troublesome and everything back to square after reboot. checking here out if anyone had the same problem and got it fixed sad.gif sigh ~

GPS should be works well what.. how come so slow to get a fix... ? its sort of depend on which location sometimes.... coz I can get a fix faster at KL rather than at Klang my hometown here...

Anyway, what TD GPS need is a shadeless place to get a fix... that is what I experience... in my home I cant even get a fix eventhough I on it for the whole day... actually is something I wanna try to see how fast it can drain my battery till mati.... laugh.gif....

From morning 9 AM till evening 5 or 6 PM still not fixed... only 2 bar only... laugh.gif

For those having problems with GPS, please try to copy the ephemeris file to your Windows folder and then try to run your GPS application again.

Attached is the link to download the latest file:
http://service.mio-tech.com/eeservice/packedephemeris.ee

I've tried on many occasions where I flashed a new OS then copied the file to the Windows folder and it works. Give it a go and see. At least it works for me.
