Anyway, i am wondering, it seems that the USB port for the Diamond is slightly different from the others. Can we use the "normal" mini USB on the Diamond?
*
i did some research on this thingy. HTC is using their trademarked 11pin mini USB, the HTC extusb"tm" lol.. so normal mini usb onli hav 5 pin and rarer version will be 10pin. but this 1 has 11 pin, heard is 5 support for power and the other for audio.

i tried to use the 5pin mini usb connector to connect my diamond.. it is able to charge up.. but u cant sync with it. If transfering and syncing will need the ori cable provide in box.

hope this info helps ~

Thanks alot there.

I got the car charger and realised that its the 5pin USB as well. So i thought we are able to sync using the normal mini USB. tongue.gif

both 10 & 11pins cable can use to charge and sync, no problem at all.

Just got back from giving the extended batteries to Lester and Lorddevil

REVIEW: Great battery, doesnt really make the Touch Diamond much thicker, only a few milimeters. solid cover as well. i bought before the 1800mah from Cameron Sino in China, and their cover was extremely lousy and hollow. This cover is much more solid. Also, its matt black, not the glossy black, and slightly RUBBERISED!! means no more hairline scratches and i dun need invisible shield!!

if u "bought" mapking, u shud have the installation files directly from mapking. if u paid someone to install for you, then yes, u have just wasted RM 80. They installed pirated mapking and charged u a ridiculous price. i suggest if u have the receipt, ask them to reinstall AND give u installation files everytime u wanna upgrade rom.

upgrade rom does improve battery life.

and yes, extended battery 50% more life biggrin.gif

u can buy it online via expansys. u just missed a bulk purchase i made. mapking is a commercial ware, and must be purchased at their website. google it. only the map itself can be obtained free from malsing

The maps can be downloaded, yes but the software itself (MapKing) need to be purchased first.

Btw Baronic, the extended battery, it comes with an additional battery cover?Cant you use back the original cover? It seems the camera lens is a bit wider on the extra battery cover. Any idea any place we can get it in Malaysia?

i organise bulk that time u all dun wanna join! ish. lol. if u all join we all also can get cheaper cuz more people. yes it comes with its own cover. cannot use original since battery 3mm thicker.

not sure when its coming out in malaysia. but a little birdie told me SIS may be bringing it in middle of next month with the price of 300. MAYBE.

lense cover is bigger, but the cover is still there, and its not deeper. my guess since the cover is now further from the actual lense, the hole muts obviously be bigger so can take pic

what would you do if you are unable to boot into your device ? hang halfway. then HardWare (Hardreset) is the best way of doing hardreset.
