regarding the video rite, wat mean by the L, M, S and the CIF..?

i note that we can switch to different functions in touchflo by chosing an icon at the bottom tray, say, the home icon, press it without lifting your touch and then slide across. iam not sure this is in the menu but i just discover it.
i am on 1.93 rom..

ok US also selling TD...but the problem is...
do i need to get the car receiver to get my TD to receive the GPS signal?

actually that dragging method has always been there, and it's definetly the better more accurate way of switching between tabs than just slidding your finger across the tabs IMHO.

That's the recording video size, after entering into video cam mode. touch the screen once, then touch the gear icon for options, then the top left one is the quality. Anyway... forget every other option, CIF is the BEST quality video recording on the Diamond, S or M for MMS, and L... well I have no idea why L is there?

try wav files, place it in root folder as you would normally do with normal notifications. means /windows or /storage

Alarm tones must be in WAV format, damn PPC alarm program.. no change since the first version. Smartphone one much better, can use MIDI, WMA, MP3, WAV...

Anyway the program is not that I cannot take videos in L size, is that after the HTC Album program plays an L video the whole thing becames unstable and wants to die. But like I mentioned, big deal!!! Since the only usable video mode is CIF.

i wanna do a test on the error you reported. could u say exactly how does it "want to die?"

I encountered a new problem yesterday. The create new sms interface did not appear, I can only see a full white interface with the black top (SMS/MMS, OK) and bottom (Send, Input Settings, Menu) bar. Soft resetting the phone few times did not help. Finally I managed to fix it my uninstalling CE-Star. Very wierd. I also can't seem to update my weather anymore. I'm currently running TLRv3 on Olinex HardSPL 1.40 . Anyone facing the same problem?

the ce-star came with HTC CD is causing this issue. i also had this problem and not sure what went wrong and did a hard reset, then only found out that it was ce-star causing this T_T. btw, there is a newer version of ce-star which u can download from htc club. specifically for diamond. so far i have no issue with weather update. currently running on 1.93 ROM

just record 2 L videos, then try and view them from the touchflo interface. first one will play properly, 2nd one errors out with a windows media error. after that all videos don't play anymore, all errors out with a windows media dialog box.

Added on August 11, 2008, 5:45 pmHeh, i had this problemm myself. it was because the CE Star was NOT registered. Go into the CE Star programs folder in Start->Programs, there's a register link in there and use it to register the program.

That's because of the threaded SMS system, you'll have to disable via the registry edit if you don't want to use threaded sms.

In Registry Editor: Create a folder named "OEM" in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings"

In the new "OEM" folder, make a new DWORD key called "SMSInboxThreadingDisabled" and give it a value of "1"
