Hehe i used to unplug the power cord right after i switch off until synco say it's bad for the PJ. Now i leave the PJ on standby and i tend to forget to take it out the power cord until the next day. The unit is quite hot with the PJ on standby. Is this normal?

It is normal to have the black borders. Normally you will project onto a projector screen and those screen will come with black borders too.

You adjust ur projector so that the projection borders are aligned to the screen black borders.

then ur black border will be very big wor, it's feasible but i don think it looks nice hehe.

Can't u fit the projected image on ur screen?

After so many months my HD65 still sitting on a low cabinet and projecting on the wall. Duno when only can hang it up on the ceiling. Headache ler

I like to enjoy the feelings of getting an upgrade from time to time. So i think it's a good thing to start at 720p. It's like the first time u saw the difference between conventioanl TV and 720p display. You get the 'wow' factor.

So after you get used to 720p and you get to see 1080p, you'll get that 'wow' factor again. But that's me lah, coz no money ma, and some more 720p is much much cheaper than 1080p and yet you can still see pores on the face

If using Point and Shoot camera try using SPORTS mode. It will increase shutter speed a bit

It says that we can upgrade our HD-65 to 3D FOC by upgrading the firmware. Is this true??

I can never get the Super Wide option to show. Sometimes i see it, but i dunno how it got there, then 2nd time when i wan to find it, it's not there anymore.

Anyone had any idea how to make it show 'everytime'? Can we ask for a firmware upgrade if any?

You won't be disappointed with HD65 once u use proper screen. Sure got 'pop' effect if it is properly calibrated

You can wait for the new HD20, FullHD and cheaper than HD82.
