wah, really? Everything 6% return is good?

then no need to buy a lot of stocks. Just all in EPF, and for cash, just keep buying Amanah saham.

U mean the magic fixed price Amanah Saham right? That's not cash. N I don't believe in magic, bomoh, homeopathy etc.

However, it's the very magic ASB (not the lower level magic Amanah Saham open for the Nons.. Lol) which is my personal benchmark to beat.. Average 10 year annual return of 8.145%. Cumulative total return of 118% for past 10 years.

Easy to beat or not?? I see the other non magic professional Malaysian fund managers all fail spectacularly to beat this. 😆

But good thing is that my benchmark return is declining haha..

Noob question here, but whats your minimum units purchased each transactions (to utilize the brokerage fee)? i suppose most of the people here uses Maybank Trade? (Or not)
*
For me I try to max the low brokerage using cash upfront account, so at least 1000 shares. I don't use Maybank IB tho..

Well, if dividend same as ASB, I happy already. Capital upside is "bonus".

Well said. We have the similar mindset. But I set my dividend rate lower due to my conservative portfolio currently. I set a more conservative 6% p.a. dividend and any possible upside will increase my accumulative yield.

I use Kenanga (with a remisier as most already know), so my brokerage is 0.60% with minimum RM40 per trade. So I do a minimum RM8k per trade, usually I would try to go for more than RM10k, but in Maybank's case, 1000 units per trade is sufficient.

I bought this 3 lots in 2008. Last night took out all the dividend slips (from 090/08 to 111/18) total them together and found out the dividend received was RM22,805.25.
Not a bad investment.

Edit 1:
After checking the Dividend slips again, I found out three Dividend slips were under my wife's name.
After removing those slips, the dividend received was RM17k+.
Sorry for the mistake earlier.

After 11 years, with those dividend received, I treat it as buy 1 free 2.
