This Wuhan virus can spread causing global epidemic.. Resulting in a global recession. Or worse case, maybe even collapse of human civilisation. Even money will be worthless then.

Last year, didn't offer. Wait n see if they offer again this year.

My last buy was 8.55, earlier this month, which I considered a good value. However, this was before the recent suprise rate cut n the Wuhan virus becoming a big deal.

I already have a lot of Maybank, n 8.46 is only a 1% drop from my last buy of 8.55. Other intresting stocks have dropped much cheaper. So Im not desperate to top up.

For Tiger bank I expect next divvy to be 30-32, because that will be based on last year final earning numbers.

Future divvy will depend on the economy. LGE said economy will be better this year. So then can maintain.

Was up nicely this morning then GDP numbers were announced. Dropped like 15 sen from intraday high. Now the worry is that another rate cut is incoming.

And PBB lagi teruk.. Now at 5 year low already.

Don't lose hope yet. Cut not confirmed anyway.

NCoV infection growth rate is in a declining trend. N if govt can come out with a good stimulus package soon, got hope..

Some analysts are now saying that the next rate cut could happen as early as next month!

Next MPC meeting will be on 3rd March 2020. If they cut, then OPR will fall to 2.5%. Last time it was at that level was in May 2010, not long after the 2009 recession.

To be honest, I rather they make another rate cut in March and be done with it for the year, rather than keep us in suspense until end of the year.

Maybe then it's time for me to buy a new car.. .

Yah considering. It's pretty solid. But also thinking if go in whether there is more upside in the bigger stocks like Mahsing or Ecowld.. Which has been battered more.

Property cycle is long, so it's now still down cycle.

In 3Q19, Malaysian housing index went negative for first time since 2008 recession. And guess what? Mah Sing is also now trading at 2008 prices! So I'm looking out for a potential property bottom this year and with a slow rally.

Maybe the BNM interest rate cuts will be a catalyst?

Still lots of time. Need shareholder approval (which of course they happy to approve).

So watch out for final dividend announcent for the ex date. U have to buy before ex date to be entitled for dividends. Last year ex date date for Maybank was 5th June 2019.

Yes. Last year no drp. See this year.

I was expecting decent results because can already see a bottom in 2Q n improvements in 3Q. That's why I started to accumulate Maybank from 2H19.

So ya I have faith in Tiger bank.. But I'm starting to lose faith in the country. And Tiger bank future is tied to the country.
