I buy my psp for 1.3k was i cheated?

Nop...modded one ranging RM1199-RM1299 at midvalley

my friend is interested to get a psp for himself..but i read some articles on internet which states that psp 2 is going to be announced soon..should i ask him to wait for psp 2 or just go and grab the current psp?

just want to share with all.
i bought psp2k last week at lowyat.
RM1350.
came with
- the PSP itself (black colour)
- piano black case
- transparent plastic casing (blackhorn)
- other blackhorn's accessories (usb cable, travel charger, etc. quite nice oso)
- 8 gig sony mem card
- 13 games (god of war, GTA, some racing games, naruto, indiana jones lego etc..)
- some mpeg4 movies (hancock, spiderman3, kungfu panda)
- some mp3 songs
- pictures of the seller (quite pretty oso- but had to delete )

so what do i think? very pricey. but the look on my son's face was really priceless..

should pickup wii instead

psp 3000 series is not modifiable eh?

In my understanding, PSP 3000 is available for RM899 in Sony centre but cannot be modded so games rely on UMD's. PSP 2000 is discontinued and is available in retail game stores for around RM1000 and can be modded so games can be run without UMD and that's the reason it's pricey. Is that right?

I think if I were to buy, I'll buy PSP 3000.

Just find out at Sony centre near my place, they're giving away 'Are You Original' tee and a free original UMD game (Capcom Classic Collection, sounds boring right) for RM899. Do you guys think it's worth it?
