need some advise here..

i've got a friend who's thinking of letting go his psp-2006..

just the console + charger with 4gb mspd..14 months old but he left his box/receipt at his old home which he has no access to anymore.

runs on 3.71-m33 firmware and it's basically scratch free and works perfectly fine.

How much should I offer him for the unit? since I'm new to console game and he doesn't know how much to sell.

If you play PSP in the original way, you supposed to buy UMD games to play it.

UMD is the small disc to put at the back of PSP.

Jack Sparrow doesn't produce UMD anyway =)

For my own personal opinion, I don't think it is a good time to buy PSP 2000 now. It's just unreasonable for me. Previously it was sold at the price of RM700 something, now the price hike till RM1000+ because of the unmodifiable PSP 3000.

Anyway, it still depends on you how badly you need it. Since PSP 3000 was released on October 2008, and till now there's still no solution yet.

oh yes there is...news are US have already found a bridge for it...ill dig out the source for you...
