they will almost always potong u kau kau by saying have to reflash & downgrade.. will be atleast RM30, some times up to RM50! for the custom firmware.. but they update till latest version for u make nice nice lah.

slim + 4gb rm650 is too expensive.

i got my phat 2nd hand scratch less full pack plus 1 ori umd(tekken) and 2x 2gb ms. for 500.

edit : oh yeah, it was modded to 3.52 m33-4 also. just a little push & i bumped it up to 4.01 m33-2, happy now

hmm i wonder why... ah but i would really recommend getting a phat, as slim & 3k doesnt have the ir port, therefore, you will not be able to use wonderful homebrew apps such as IRshell... that lets you change your tv channels with your psp

FULL NEW PSP2k (modded/unmodded) = RM850+
FULL NEW PSP3k (cannot be modded yet)= RM700+

PSP2k secondhand = RM600-700 (depends on items & condition)
PSP1k secondhand = RM490-600 (depends on items & condition)

the price speculation only.. that was last week that i heard.
sungei wang may be up to RM100+ cheaper for new sets.

oh yeah one thing.. i'm sure i've said this more than twice already but keep in mind that the few last batches of psp2k with the ta-088 boards are not moddable.

watch out what psp u buy & check the motherboard. unless you're planning to travel to europe where umd is about 5 to 10 pounds each..

not just the price ppl! right now i'm guessing 80% of the new psp slims on market are the 088 boards... good luck i still prefer to go second hand.

the only sure way to check for the mother board model is :

1. open the psp cover to see

since u can ask those questions, u should already know the answer.

IT IS NOT CONFIRMED THAT PSP3K/2K WILL BE HACKABLE ANY TIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE (from 2-3 months to 1 year+)

for the safest bet.. just get second hands. alot of ppl dunno how to play a psp so the second hand market is always active.

it wont, even if psp3k and psp2k (ta-088v3) is moddable, the prices would skyrocket even further.
