i can fix it, but wetfusion got lubang to buy parts. i got lubang too but dunno which of our contact is cheaper.
either way, u can ask for fix from any of us.

@metalslayer = for RM600, even a fake mem stick is a bargain.
but you wont notice the difference. just use it, most of us are on fake mem stick too. and the soft pouch is great. haha. keeps your psp from scratches. great2 i love it.
and you can play any downloaded game with it. not just the ones from the shop.

damn, last night i tried soldering the amp for the sound leds. most of the leds burnt. T_T havent counted the casualty rate yet. been up all night till some 5.20am. gonna test the leds now.

i took the speaker apart n noticed there are 6 terminals in it. dont have a clue whats the C n RA for. still looking for answers. plus i need the labels for the headphone jack.

it was a night's work, done aroun 4.50am and had to depart to KL at 9.. didnt really got time to touch up. plus the lack of tools n stuff. wetfusion so lucky got friends with drill n grinder to touch up his psp. i gotta use primitive tools. haha.
anyway, uploading the video now. the quality is pretty bad, i mean the video's sound quality. but nevetheless, i've overcame the sound prob. now screaming like a nightingale. ahaha

first attempt on soldering to the sound terminals. failed to achieve high quality. wetfusion was right, i better solder them to the headphone jacks.
left and right speaker points. the soldered ones are the + terminal.

as u can see, cant close properly for the speaker's solenoid's sheer size. sound quality memang gila babi chun woh!

sound quality is obviously better, my cameraphone's mic sucks. or broken. either way, sucks la. T_T

thats the slim one. my cousin got a phat one. i measured and i think they can fit better in the phat one minus the umd module.

well it bugs me though. haha i cant close it properly, and that picture really shows how much i can close. can barely fit in my pocket, unless i wear cargo pants.
i'll try n mod it somemore. dunno what else to do. and notice there are no leds? well, they burnt. dunno if i did the wiring wrong.

thought about drilling a hole on the backplate, but i dont think it'll do much good. i'll still drill them though, but i'll make a custom cover for it. well..hope to.
and it was a very short time project, havent got everything done yet.
1. I cant turn off the back speakers or switch from back to front yet.
2. If I plug in earphones, both earphones and the back speaker sounds.

if u turn it on loud enough, will rumble like dual shock controllers. but i dont think people around u will appreciate it though. very very loud.

anyway guys, its still a work in progress. i'll repaint it. my bro gave me a great idea to spray it metallic candy black, and the buttons will have some very special touches. wont tell now yet. the backplate will have a new custom brace for the speakers (hope so..im not good at making things from scratch. ) maybe if i got the time (and money), i'll do that 16gig internal memory like wetfusion.

I used zeus' gauntlet. I think that's the best weapon against him. but that's just me la.

that one u gotta put in LEDs. drill a hole in each trigger button and drill a hole at the umd door. put in LEDs. but u gotta hook them to the sound connectors n all.

well, glare really is a problem to me sometimes. when im in the car, playing. if the sun is shining on the screen, cant see shit captain.. or sometimes i play when waiting for the train or bus, maybe by the park. who knows,
yeah, the screen is somewhat really sucks under bright sunlight. if im not mistaken, longitech got this psp case with anti glare screen on it.

hahaha. speaker cant do anything about it. man, cant wait to go home n remake the backplate.
well, it does look a lot more solid, but then its just the picture. they can do things with it. LG made their chocolate phone look solid, n so does china phones. but only in picture. i think the quality will be much less the same.
i hope they can sell the casing separately. can buy it n put on my psp.
new glossy thin ring is cool. n the whole psp resembles a little like psp-1000 cuz the edges are kinda sharper than psp slim.

they should've added that 3000 version with an IR port man. i mean, you can do all sorts of stuff. universal remote for tv, air cond, dvd player, can even use IR keyboard if surfing the web. the possibilities are endless. but then they took it out.. T_T
