just wanna ask if there will be any lag using xlink kai to play online.

alo there psp masters! i wanna buy psp by end of the month but im confused with the psp technical stuff like

"should i update the software to 4.0?"
"where can i get the free games? is it as good compared to original"
"got pirated games?"
"any do's and don'ts dat i should noe as a noobie?"

1. Normally if you get if from an unauthorised reseller (a seller who is not from sony) the psp is already running on a firmware of either 3.70 m33-3 or 3.90.m33-3 or mayb 4.0 m33 . But either way, all are good enough for you to play c!pl4* games + run homebrew softwares.

2. I would advice you to get a few original games first just to support them for the games that u like. Example, buy the ori version of GTA. I love GTA series so much that i bought both ori version of vice city + liberty city. Anyways free games, i take it as homebrew games? Homebrew games are quite fun to play

3. Most consoles would have pirated games , and this is no exception. But do note, piracy talk is forbidden here.

4. Do's and dont's . I'll keep it simple. If u want to use your psp for gaming, then use it for gaming only and don't try to upgrade it or do something to it if you dont really know what you're doing. Other than that, you're safe. Play safe

I've just got some corrections to make.

1)3.71m33,3.80m33,3.90m33 or 4.01m33.All these are custom firmwares which are developed by Dark_AleX.

wetfusion,there are other custom firmware developers as well,and i knew this since the first release of the M33 firmwares.

now not that many, only DA n GEN group... DA start making cfw since oea... as a phat user you shold oledi know that..

Of course lah,but you don't know some other well-known developers in the psp scene.Before DA even started with custom firmware (oe),harleyg made one for 1.50
There is even Team WildC*rd who developed 3.40LE.Another custom firmware named "3.71-HX" and of course 3.95GEN by Mariam.There are also some other "less-known" developers who have reversed the official firmware to create custom firmwares.

And just so you know,i've used Dark_AleX's custom firmware since 2.71SE so yea.

i read most of the cfw developers ebook on the net.. they even teach how to make cfw.. you should check on that

I have,i even have the source code for some oe firmwares and 3.40LE firmware.It's pretty confusing,but i'm still trying to make out what each line means
