i use phat... better use fully upgrade... hav no problem when updating from 3.03 to 3.90 + add on kernal..

the term fully upgrade means upgrade it step by step.. 3.03, 3.4,3.5, 3.7, 3.8 n 3.9...by doing this,all the bugs are fixed... do i have to explain more???

BTW... now days u can theoretically upgrade it directly to 3.9 using ultimate Pandora V4... a lot of thanks to DA n his team!

juvenile86: if u are using 3.90 m33-2, some game cant be played using m33 driver (example harvestmoon inncent life).. so change it.. open vsh menu> umd iso mode change to sony NP9660...

if u are using 3.90 m33-3... there are certain types of fonts deleted... example Korean.. giv respond after trying this

greyfox: huhu yela... tapi aku xpuas ati tang ko ckp bila upgrade firmware dia terus upgrade kernal... setahu aku kene install sendiri 1.5 add on kernal kat phat.. baru certain application mcm infra red boleh jalan... SLIM xde 1.5 kernal.. sbb tu DA ada wat time machine.. untk membolehkan slim ada 1.5 kernal... tapi DA sendiri masih dalam research time machine tu.

if 'supported' means ori... if 'unknown' means ciplak.. kakakaka

lawl : ez... open ur psp, take out ur motherboard, take out the umd door, take out the silver ring, cut it with a knife, sand it, paste a clear plastik at the back, paste back the finished sand psp round logo.. n there u go... ur own psp umd door mod

are you a noob?... make the wifi switch as the led switch.. wifi 'off' led 'on', wifi 'on' led 'off'. so i only turn the led 'on' when i want to.
n tested while led on it can last about 4 hours with max backlight n max volume. build an amp,the led only use 3.7v. from a 5v source somewhere in on the psp motherboard. make sure u know the facts b4 posting. n if u dont know the facts... ask b4 posting.

i see u like computer, electronics n circuit, just finish my engineering diploma. theres an ebook about psp hacking n mod that you can download, lots of information about psp there, it also contains psp motherboard skimatic. im telling you this bcoz i think you also have the same interest as im.

currently have 3psp, the one i like most white n purple conbination. will post it if i have the time. i can repair burned sound or backlight fuse. any question pm me. BTW, im from kuantan.

next project i will try to add an xtra speaker on the back, im thinking of using w810 speakers. that i can buy in handphone spare parts shop.

psp 2000 is sale for japan, psp 2006 is for china... psp 2002.. errr.... oledi forget... maybe US, n psp2004 is for euro if i'm not mistaken? but you get the basic idea right? psp 200X refer to its motherboard version (such as TA-085, TA-086 etc) AND to where it is suppose to sell... err... hope my explaination help you alot.. correct me if im wrong... haha
