but i have my doubt. If a dealer says his stick is original *and if it turns out it is not* i rather forgo the deal as the dealer is not being honest. There might be other stuff that he is hiding / not telling you.

Anyways, just read up in this thread and you'll come up with a way on how to check if the memory stick is original or not. Then if you cod, you can find out if the dealer is being honest or not by checking the memory card

ahaha.. yeah it helps too. but to avoid from the rice dusts to enter, wrap it inside a fine piece of cloth. no not fine as is expensive. XD fine as in very nicely made so the dusts cant enter.

and if he doesnt keep the mem stick's packaging anymore and you dont have another mem stick to compare, check it. press /\ anytime in the XMB (the main menu where you can choose music, games, video and all) and press O. if the MagicGate^TM is registered as "unknown" then its a fake mem stick.

Well,afaik Pronto Hex 1.3 is the latest and yes it's old.But i see no reason at all in getting a newer package (if there is one) because the package that you have contains about 2000 rdf codes.It has almost all the tv/electronic brands out there.You can even use it to control your ps2 (Certain games/menus only).

update can be apply by urself ..no need to spend money for updating the firmware..

yeah, usually shop will con. they say this broken, that broken. need to test each one with multimeter n shit.
if the screen only got stain on the surface, just open n wipe it off. but if its inside the lcd, then buy a new one n replace it. can even do it yourself. the insides are pretty solid. no need to worry about tidbits falling off.

I am thinking of buying a psp with a view of using the gps function. Anyone used the gps before? How much does it cost for a full set up woth 8G mem card.
