1)Go to recovery mode (Hold the off switch for 3-5 seconds,then HOLD R and boot your psp up)
2)Now go to CPU Speeds and change it.

OR

Press the select button in your XMB (psp main menu),then change it.
Note : You need to enable the VSH menu in recovery mode first.

Guys, do you know any other alternative to AFKIM?

I was using it yesterday on my slim but it had some graphical glitches (known to happen on slim) and today i downloaded the fixed version. I put the ms in my pc and while copying the computer disabled and renabled the ms. happened for a few times then i got tired and use the usb with my psp. now , when i put the file , it shows as corrupted in my game menu. even if i put another version of the app, it shows as corrupted. What should i do? any other alternative? I use it mainly for msn

Why must you use AFKIM as instant messenger? I found out that it's hard for me to input words as compared to eBuddy. For instant messaging, I prefer to use PSP browser and surf the ebuddy.com site, for me PSP's input method is better. My second option is to use PSPKVM (java virtual machine software for psp?) and I install ebuddy on it, but this is a bit more troublesome and it is not recommended if you don't like it. The main reason I love PSPKVM is that it can do multitasking, chatting with ebuddy + surfing net using Operamini(way faster than PSP browser). PSPKVM is a bit troublesome because of its input method, I bet no one is using PSPKVM for multitasking purpose, anybody?

It can multitask? and use Opera ? wow... The main reason i need this is for multitasking. I suppose if im using ebuddy from the browser , i cant browse to other sites right?

Any guides / or if you're free, can you guide me on installing PSPKVM? Or just the first few steps to get it running

If you're using eBuddy on your browser,then yes you can open new pages and view other sites,but if you're using AFKIM or any other homebrews,you can't unless you use plugins or any other core applications.

By using your PSP's browser you can chat with ebuddy and surf net too, but you know PSP's browser is soooo slow la... Did you use before Operamini on and handhelds? It's very fast. To download pspkvm, go www.pspkvm.com, there are some guides on how to use it, download the guide there. It's easier if you add me in msn, pm me ur email.

Homebrews are basically games,applications and many more developed by developers using programming languages like C,C++,Lua and SDL.For example,check my homebrew "Playboy's Shooter" which was coded in C.It's in my signature lol

CXMB is basically a plugin which allows the psp to install CTF themes instead of the PTF ones.CXMB is really good as it doesn't alter your psp flash 0 in any ways.This means,your psp won't brick by using this plugin.

You can get homebrews from almost every psp scene site out there.I however,only trust a few.
