I'm sure there is BC in Melacca. Try to search in those bigger pet shops where they sell cat and dog stuffs, I think they should have. Another options is order online from Pet Shack. Or you can also come and visit KL then buy the largest pack so that it can last you for some time. I'm currently using BC, corncobs, Kaytee Aspen wood shavings and hay. Put some hay as it can cover the smell of the pee better. You can only smell tea smell rather than the pee smell. For those who staying in hostel can do this. Or you on your fan or keep the room well ventilate, it can reduce the smell better.

Don't worry. They have all kind of methods for transaction. Super convenient.

Then you both should learn up as nowadays is an internet world and everything going to be cashless and you can do many things online and it's just so easy. You can also ask jtl to get some arrangement for you to get the stuffs as I know sometimes there maybe chance for the stock to get to Melacca.

Understand your addiction. I'm addicted also but I can't afford to keep so many as I do not have that much time to take care of them due to busy work and unstable working hours. Wish can go hamster hunting again like before but too many things to consider and think about. But now me and Blurjoey started to fall in love with Duprasi after we have Echo. Still love our syrians of cos, waiting for Nezu's bears meanwhile but thinking of hunting again after you told us have black banded in Pet Family, I miss Fumoffu, DigDig and AshAsh so much la.... Wish to get the same color like them again one day.

Syrian doesn't required sand bath as they can clean themself very well. You can wipe him with a damp cloth if you want but once a week, not everyday. If you dress him up, how he going to groom himself leh??? And he will bite the strange thingy on his body as well.

No. It's different. Bathing sand is finer and toilet sand is rougher. Use for different reason. WWs and robos need bathing and toilet sand, buy syrian only need toilet sand. They can be toilet train and pee in the toilet sand.

It's very stressful for hamster to travel around and get use to the environment like this. Just like they just settled down in a new place, then gotta move again, gotta settle again, once settled, move again,.......on and on. For you also you'll go crazy if you move house every month. Just leave the hamster alone and let the hamster to have a normal and happy life rather than have a traveling life. It's also very wasteful to have tanks all over the places, I know you can afford, but I do think you can spend the money wisely on other good stuffs for your hamster like food and wheel. If you can afford, go for a ZooZone1 rather than a 2ft tank is even better for your hamster. Hamster not human or baby. Remember, stress can bring wet tail disease.

Can. As long as he can finish, you can add the amount until you see left over. You can keep giving until he don't want. Need to give other food as well besides smoothies.

Nutritional wise, enough for him, but give him more variety mah, just like give him something to chew and it'll give them fiber also.

The tank was used by our 2 robos before. The hole was made for the habitrail mini tubes. But now using for Echo, we cover it with a small cover taken from the habitrial mini tube.

Foo, all the flavors above. Everyday different so that they won't get bored. They love all the flavors.

RM100+ for 1 syrian is consider cheap... Our record is RM300+ for 1 syrian... The rest all like RM200+ cos the most expensive thing is the wheel and bedding. That's why we always said, hamsters are cheap but the accessories are expensive... especially you wanna get the good thing.

Don't say that la, Spend according to your limit and how much you can afford. Do not purposely spend a lot or more. What I mean is, it will never be cheap having a pet even small like hamster as they stuffs are just expensive if you wanna provide them good stuffs. For us, we will provide them the best as long as we can afford. That's why I told you before, it's very very expensive if we manage to get show quality hamsters here as the expenses will be triple or even more for one hamsters as compare to what we've spent. Can't imagine that...

Hmm... Maybe you misunderstand me. I just giving example on how much it will need even for as small as 1 syrian. Not to compete here. I don't agreed on 'ALL' forumer who joined this forum are pets lovers. Some are just pretend to be one but he/she is not, yet they are showing us how many pets of theirs died and not how many years their pet can live or how well they treat their pets. Sometime doesn't mean you spend more money is showing how good you treat your pet. We must love our pets and give them the best we can.
