The water tank he is using it now got the metal ball inside but without any spring attached lor
Hmm..not into cuddling, just he like to sleep at the corner side. Have to change his hay again, wet again

I wonder if i put a small mini cup inside his hay to replace the water tank, will it be better?Scared later he spill it out

He is now sleeping quitely, just now woke up chew some food with eyes closed then sleep back again. Lolx

Fill water into the bottle till very full, try and see how.

Ya,will find another better water tank for him later. Hopefully this time no more dripping type de lor
Hehe,yalor

The 1st time I show him my hand yesterday,he sniff sniff then then bite my finger till bleed
I wondering maybe because he is afraid of my hand?I don't know how he have be treated in his previous place lor
But he is non-aggrasive type, just shy away only. But luckily when i hand him foods he still will come lor
Yah,wana ask about the sand bath. How is the process and the frequency using it?

I saw got seller sells clothes for hammie, soo mini & cute

But it is alright to dress them up? Will they feel uncomfortable? Somemore the rolling wheel he is using now is very noisy oh,at night i sleep that time he is busy exercising brrr brrr..hahax!

Syrian doesn't required sand bath as they can clean themself very well. You can wipe him with a damp cloth if you want but once a week, not everyday. If you dress him up, how he going to groom himself leh??? And he will bite the strange thingy on his body as well.

you could try putting a ceramic bowl underneath. Like in my tank setup (a few pages back) I put my ceramic ashtray (never used) as the food bowl under the water bottle - mainly coz worried Kiki can't reach it. LOL! and it'll catch any drips (tho I doubt the living world one drips)
Added on June 8, 2008, 3:14 pmcan put outside? Coz if im getting, im planning to put outside - at the porch, behind the flower pots. Got roof so it wont be exposed to the sun/rain
I always got this thought that i'll bite my skin and masuk underneath the skin - ala the first Mummy movie where all the beetles crawled into the skin
btw, is toilet sand and bathing sand the same?
No. It's different. Bathing sand is finer and toilet sand is rougher. Use for different reason. WWs and robos need bathing and toilet sand, buy syrian only need toilet sand. They can be toilet train and pee in the toilet sand.

It's very stressful for hamster to travel around and get use to the environment like this. Just like they just settled down in a new place, then gotta move again, gotta settle again, once settled, move again,.......on and on. For you also you'll go crazy if you move house every month. Just leave the hamster alone and let the hamster to have a normal and happy life rather than have a traveling life. It's also very wasteful to have tanks all over the places, I know you can afford, but I do think you can spend the money wisely on other good stuffs for your hamster like food and wheel. If you can afford, go for a ZooZone1 rather than a 2ft tank is even better for your hamster. Hamster not human or baby. Remember, stress can bring wet tail disease.
