now the oil price increase, cant afford to have more hamster.
1 hamster and 2 gerbils already make me pening kepala.
was thinking to rent a car and go for hamster and gerbil hunting, but... sigh.. oil price increased, ruin my plan.
i dunno how hun survive with her pets nowadays since the oil price hike hohoho.

like the Pet Family we went yesterday.... the thank REALLY FULL!!! OMG!!!
they even put the tag "buy 1 free 1" because too much n cramp inside the tank...
and the word 'nearly dead' for yesterday is... even the staff go kacau the hammie... they still sleep like DEAD!!    kacau for how many times also kept sleeping... only open half eyes.. then continue back to dream land~

If we all plan to go hamster hunting  (a.k.a. poisoning session) , I dont mind tumpang-ing u guys from KJ lrt station to sunway.
mine no need to kacau. the moment thrs a sound outside its cage, it will look up. very alert that one

im still trying to figure out how to know the sex of my hamster coz i cant pick it up. wana take pic also kinda susah..moves fast.

My Ferro sleep like dead log. manage to climb to vegetable bowl but fall asleep in it.      Funny, cute and swt at the same time.  At least Roche will look up when I call her name.

Neshie, your Ocha got chew the bone a not? Thinking to get one each for Ferro and Roche.  The wooden carrot and corn too cham dy. Thinking of changing it.

And pet shack really feels like home. If only it's nearer to my house and not so much jam I'd go there daily or at least weekly. Hehe...

Hahaha.... sleep like dead log rite? I can also pick up the hamsters while they sleep and they have no idea I already picked them up. When they open their eyes, they got this blur look like "what happened?" look.

I just bought a green bell pepper, gonna try on my hamsters later.

Yes, you can but make sure is more than 1 day old. It needs to be stale so it is better for hamsters to eat.

got rapid KL to sunway... but u have to see the tag carefully or u can just ask the driver if the bus go to sunway.
other than rapid KL u can take mini bus *the yellow color small bus haha* this is for sure from ktm-sunway-ktm lol
both also can if u wan.. but do remember that, if u wan to take either bus u MUST remember to stop at the bridge just in front of pyramid the bridge if not the bus will take u till pyramid then u'll have to walk far far far to petshack! lol

from the bridge... u still have to walk thou... just walk straight from the bridge till u saw McD and walk to behind it and u can see petshack ed... u went to petshack before rite?

me too. after settle down, will get a puppy, a fat tail gerbil, and a suggie      

they become lazy and more lazy

but robo alot in the cage very cute..especially small small hamster lol...

Condition    Symptoms

1. Bite wounds    Sores, lacerations, red or irritated areas, or infection

2. Cheek pouch problems  Pouches are swollen and painful when touched.

3. Diarrhea      Liquid feces, wet around rear end.

4. Ear Problems          Scratching and digging in ears

5. Stomach Problems      Loss of weight, lack of appetite, diarrhea, or sits in a hunched over position.

6. Heatstroke  The hamster appears dead or comatose and is weak and unresponsive.
^(place them in a 60-90 degree temperature to prevent this, i read about it somewhere before)

7. Nails    Nails tear or bleed because of the excessive length.

8. Breathing difficulties  Sneezing, difficulty breathing and wheezing

What To Do

1. If possible, try to cleanse the wounds with a tiny amount of hydrogen peroxide. Keep the wound clean. Otherwise, see a vet.

2. Check inside mouth and try to remove any objects. This is quite difficult so consult a vet.
    Be sure the pouches actually have problems before taking the animal to the vet. Lots of hamsters always overstuff their pouches.

3. Try to rehydrate the hamster by offering more water. But, you must contact a vet. This is probably wet tail and you will need medication immediately.

4. Ask a vet. It could be mites or possibly, disease.

5. Isolate and rehydrate. Take away all green foods. If problem persists, take to the vet.

6. Take to a cool room, and while holding in hand, set the hamster into cool water.
    Keep the head above water. Carefully and completely dry the hamster. Make sure you keep them out of drafts! As soon as they are conscious, rehydrate.

7. Trim the tips of the nails down to the quick with baby nail clippers or take your hamster to the vet and ask them to do it.

8. First, what kind of bedding are you using? If it is cedar, remove it immediately!! Otherwise, get your hamster to the vet quickly.

all of them are doing great, and the one that i bought from PLC is quite tame now heheh.. he quite scared before but two day later hes ok already and he like to go out from his tank, he is ww pearl.
