Good afternoon   I've just got my boy boy syrians yesterday when my friend said she no longer can keep it due to moving to overseas to study so I decided to take care of him lor He is kinda guai,when i talked to him he will just stare at me not moving at all   Hehe,so cute ooo~

But hor the prob is his mini water tank in which he can lick it to drink whenever he wants it. The water keep on leaking so easily that it wets his hay.I've already checked and changed it last night and this morning same thing happened again   I do know that if the hay is wet,hammie will tend to get sick easily. May I know anyone do faced the same probs like me & any solutions other than changing his water tank? Many thanks  

No brand de wor,yesterday purposely went to buy everything new for him at pet shop nearby my house.

The water tank he is using it now got the metal ball inside but without any spring attached lor
Hmm..not into cuddling,just he like to sleep at the corner side. Have to change his hay again,wet again   I wonder if i put a small mini cup inside his hay to replace the water tank,will it be better?Scared later he spill it out   He is now sleeping quitely,just now woke up chew some food with eyes closed then sleep back again. Lolx

Yah,wana ask about the sand bath.How is the process and the frequency using it?   I saw got seller sells clothes for hammie,soo mini & cute   But it is alright to dress them up? Will they feel uncomfortable? Somemore the rolling wheel he is using now is very noisy oh,at night i sleep that time he is busy exercising brrr brrr..hahax!

But I'm using living world bottle. The small 100 ml wan i got 2 for my syrians. The 500 ml wan is for my GP Micheri. Never leak lar. You just have to fill water till it's full full and tip it over all at once. Then when the ball is covering the entrance of the metal spout, it won't leak.

I bought before the spring wan. My robos and also my GP started drinking less and less water because the spring goes into place very fast, means only a little water come out. I think they feel reluctant to drink.  But they very happily drink when I use back living world.

Syrian doesnt need sand bath because they really good in cleaning theirself,giving them sandbath make the fur look fugly with white sand on it.

now i only put toilet sand for it.

today i see her sleep nicely liao, i call her oso ignore me le.. is good news to me

now saving money to buy few tanks... some put in kl and some in my bf house. then holiday can take  transport cage back

keep pets like taking care of baby  

after graduation, when move back to bf house sure he will pengsan, kancil not enuf to fit the tanks and cages and food summore

A bigger wheel is better all the time. My robos love the big wheel meant for small syrians. I'm sure your WW will too.

There are only a few brands that doesn't leak. Critter Canteen never leaks if you place correctly coz it has a spring in it. I use that. Also, you know that Genting Kelang petshop? It has these bottles.... I forgot the brand, later let you know. It has double metal balls inside, which makes it never leak too. I use that as well.
My parents also say the same thing. What to do? hahahah... have pets is like that lah if we wanna give them the best.

Ohh,how much is the Critter Canteen will be? Standard mini size as well? Coz I saw got some long tank for sales,but mine is just mini and small and yet enough for him to drink since I noticed he don't really drink. Is that alright?   Can hammi drink fresh juices/plain water+a lil glucose for adding up some taste to encouraged him to drink more? Thx

i have 3x Critter Canteens. they're good, way better than those other nonsense that came with cages that often drip.

how much is a 1.3 ft tank. I saw a hamster cage going for really cheap (with metal bars) and im considering to buy for my ww so that my new syrian can use my current 2ft tank. coz currently kinda short of money

Yea...the one in garage sales..rm15 oo for complete set. Rm15 wont even get a 1.5ft tank i think. Haha! Hurm..but I don't really like the metal cages. But then again, Its going to be a rather messy 2 mths or so for me coz I need to go look for a job after graduating end of this month.

- Fresh veges and fruits every day
- 4-5 Mealworms or 1-2 crickets per day
- Foo's smoothie
- Foo's organic powder
- Raw cashew or peanut (1 nut per day)

1 prestige X 1/4 britter bunny
Nutri-Smoothie
Mealworms (10 per day)
Sprouts (thinking to make sprout smoothie soon, mostly organic beans, seed and herb)
Fresh (for chew siok siok, cos mainly from Nutri-Smoothie already)
organic vege powder

Crickets depends on the syrian. Usually they don't dare touch. SamSam will jump or run away.

Managed to get SamSam to eat the cricket when it's dead. Others going to try soon.

I will use my hands but sangels will use her long forceps.
