btw, how to make the hamster bath with the bathing sand? I did try putting a tray of the sand inside for about 30 mins then take out. Din see it do anything also to it.

I think they'll use it when they want. When I introduced bathing sand, I put my robos into the tray. They curiously sniffed around. Fat Fat straight away started rolling in it. Yuu jump back out but would always groom inside the bathing sand tray only. Once in a while will roll in it. So just let your hammies get used to the idea I guess.

Adult RC hamsters are actually depends.

Based on my experience, newly introduce adults will mostly fight against each other. This applies for same sex hammies.

If different sex hammies get introduce then is okey. They wouldnt fight.

There is another situation occur when u introduce a younger male to adult female. The female will bully the young till hou cham hou cham....

Lol, cause he was the one who helped me adopt. he said before he gave it to me (he adopted 3) those 3 syrians were very lively, but after that all very unactive liao. sighs, he dun wanna listen to me oso, i asked him to separate the male and female (he's keeping 2 now, one male one female), but he refused. the worst part is that both are siblings. so if inbreeding...
sighs. i wanna search for a sable banded male now.

hoping to get my own syrian. dang just now wanted to go pet shack. was at sunway pyramid then i bugged my dad to bring me there then he was like " so far, so hot" "u dunno the way there also, dangerous" etc etc. heart broken.

The one pair of scary RC i boarded was ok with each other, with one being dominant. I guess it depends on the nature of the hamster? They pretty much grew up together but has a different age.

And yah, the female was older than the male so she's more dominant. The male was very laid back, with that kind of a "whatever lar" attitude. Maybe that's why can mix.

haha... wat tank do u mean? is it guppy tank? like those that nezu use to keep gerbils? i want to use that, but again i feel nicer if got a nice habitrail. haha

Mixture dont introduce adult to younger ones for RC

it's the ones nezu using. and the ones -Nos- selling also. in terms of looks of course the habitrail nicer. but then when washing time

But he GAVE it to you. You ADOPTED them already. How come be can be like that. make people love the hamster dy then take it back. It wasn't like you're helping him with boarding service.

Sometimes people are just stubborn in a bad way... Forget it lar. He won't take your advice.

But I guess it's better to get your own in case these kind of things happen again.

Go pet shack! Get the red-eyed ball-ball cutie! I'm still thinking of it until now le. Very attracted to it. But I didn't see any sable banded in Pet Shack yesterday. Got many cinnamon banded and a few cream banded. All look like a large ball!

How come dunno the way? Go Sunway Pyramid. Make a U-turn to the opposite of the sunway pyramid and you'll see many many shop lots. Pet Shack is there, with a bright yellow coloring boards.

I use a 2ft tank for my hamster, drill a whole at the side to put the bottle. Bought a Wodent Wheel and also a wooden house (the wooden hse has no base, so very easy to clean.

2ft tank = rm38
4oz bottle = RM 9
Suction cup = RM2
Wooden hse = RM11 (sumwhr around there la)

Okay the wodent wheel was pricy (RM65) but if u get a normal wheel, its all very cheap. Cheaper than habitrail. I think habitrail is a bit too small for syrians

Hamsters from stores like that are often bitey and overly cautious... I couldn't manage to get Yuu to stay on my hand for more than 3 seconds after so long. When I bought Yuu, I could see he was badly handled, in a very rough way. So he become very afraid...

Try to cup your hamster with 2 hands. Leave a hole between your finger and your thumb for your hand on top, for it to stick its head out. When it does, make the hole smaller and firmly grasp it, then lift it up enough to see the genitals. I use this tactic to check my robos gender. Robos are really fast and don't like being touched too much so this method works the best for me.
