that's nothing new... i believe quite alot of people do that becoz the "smart ATM machines" are not smart enough to recognize RM5 and RM1!!!  doh.gif
*
Yealo, and I really like to pay in RM 50 denominations tongue.gif bad habit...MUST CHANGE

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 16 2008, 10:03 AM)
@jeff_ckf,
Unless ur paying cash, I don't see the reason for paying the bank anything more than I spent *grins* - unless I know I'm going to need the additional credit [when I go away, I always make sure I have sufficient credit] - but I don't need to do that now since I now hold more than the 2 cards issued by Citibank.

Yes... do take advantage of their point reward system - but I find it difficult to accumulate points esp if I'm 'scattering' my payments hence I'd always believed in using 1 card as my primary card.
*
Yea tinkerbel, I do pay in cash blush.gif Don't have cheque and don't want let Maybank2u earn my RM 2 hahaha. Oh I have only my DA as my primary card. Lately been using the silly Citibank Shell coz need to fulfill the RM 20 quota and then cancel it icon_rolleyes.gif After that will be back to DA

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Jun 16 2008, 10:08 AM)
A very good plan.

Bankers like to call you more for some more loans ( not asking you for payments of course ).
*
I don't quite get you. U trying to say that bankers would love giving me cards coz I always pay more or u r saying something else? unsure.gif

@jeff_ckf,
RM20?! Just use it once at the petrol pump and U would have exceeded the RM20 - how difficult is it to spend RM20?!

Haha no tinker....the RM 20 is the rebate. Stupid Citibank Shell does not give out rebate directly every month like DA does. Instead they accumulate it. For example, my Citibank Shell classic gives 1.5% rebate for shell fuel and 0.5% rebate for everything else. Let's say I spend RM 300 on Shell fuel this month and another RM 500 on other purchases, my total rebate is only RM 4.50+RM 2.50 = RM 7.00....So I need to collect RM 20 b4 Citibank gives me the rebate sweat.gif

@jeff_ckf,
AhHh.... I think U mentioned it previously before except I didn't pay much attention to it *grins* Anyhow, I used DA to pay for petrol for the first time yesterday *grins* Also, figured since I ain't going to be getting points if I used my Citibank card, I might as well shift all petrol usage to DA and gain from there smile.gif

@jeff_ckf,
Unfortunately, I was out the whole day and didn't get a chance to scrutinise through the Star. I noticed only headline news; what's the news on this guy?
