Thanks boonies.
You're a godsent.

Some say fin would see results in 8 months or a year.
I'm adding minox as well now.

I'm using Proscar (5mg per tablet)
Which one is better?
Cutting it into 1/5 or 1/4?

Hi.

Just bought Kirkland Minoxidil 5%.

Read the mini booklet.
Crap!

It won't help frontal baldness doh.gif
I have frontal baldness.

It'll only work with Vertex/crown baldness.

@boonies, what's your opinion?

Since I bought it, might as well use it.

Hopefully the fin (Proscar) that I took would see promising results after 8 months.
Some say need to wait till a year to see result.
Some lucky souls saw results within 3 months.
That would be the end of February 6th, 2010.

Hi.

Not excited till I get full hair but after 5 months on Proscar (finastride) and 1 month on Nizoral Shampoo (twice a week),
I think I can see results.
I think Nizoral does work well with Finastride.

August 2009 - Started on Proscar only.

That's a serious hair growth bro, even the hairline is improved. By the way, do you cut Proscar to 4 pieces?
*
I cut into 5 pieces.
With scissors.

QUOTE(mo_meng @ Jan 6 2010, 10:44 AM)
i just got myself a regaine and nizola from guardian quiet expensive tho
but i have a question here, the pharmasist told me better dont use the regain when u r using nizola coz it will not able to absorb it since the nizola drug is on ur head after u wash it and eventually ur reagine will be wasted. Can anyone enlighten me on this?????
how should i start using these?
btw i also got some multi-vit from there shaklee is the brand, but it contains iron .. i read other websites which stated men should not consume too much iron as compare to women and the iron type multi vit should be consume by women instead of men, so i stopped using it.
Can anyone here also tells me whether this is true or not? im planning to get more vit such as b-complex & zinc for the time being BUT im thinking if someone taking so many vit which some of the nutiens in it will be the same, will it cause any side effect if overdose

PLEASE HELP, thanks ya
*
Honestly, from my personal experience...vitamins won't help.
Food that you ate has all those natural vitamins.

I have a Kirkland Minoxidil and used it a few times (still 90% in it) ...then stored...not working for me.

thanks .. Raikkonen .. so what methods u use to prevent hair fall?
*
Normal eating habits.
Less oil, less sugar, less salt tongue.gif
I don't even wore gel or hair cream.

Maybe will wore hair cream once my hair is full...hopefully.

QUOTE(Beachkid @ Jan 6 2010, 08:40 PM)
A lot of people here seem to like proscar and finasteride but won't it cause erectile problems?

You rather have no sex than no hair?
*
Some did experince side effects, some does not.
So far works fine with me.

But I planned to stop finastride this Mei...stock ran out anyway tongue.gif
Hopefully my hair stays.

You can try other non popular pharmacies.

Use Yellow Pages; call and asked.
I did.

Well known pharmacies like Guardian, Watson unlikely selling it.

I wish to buy hair cream to comb & style my hair.

Any recommendations?
Product that was good for hairloss of course.

I like the smell of 'Follow Me' hair cream though.

Are you taking only Biotin?

BTW, is the hair regrowth/loss control regimen any different for hard training individuals?
*

Proscar only; in that picture.

Now, Proscar, minoxidil and Biotin.

Hard training?
You mean weight lifting?

No different.
It won't intefere with hair regrowth.

I jogged 30 minutes and did some weight training myself; dumbells only.

^

I've been taking Proscar since 2009.
Good so far.
But other people did experience side effects.

Proscar are for prostate patients.
Kind of nuts since taking it just because it contains finastride.
But logically, it prevents/cure prostate cancer....and hopefully grow your hair back.

Conclusion = hairloss men are early symptoms of prostate cancer?

Make sense tongue.gif
But need a doctor to confirm this.

Some say to combine it with minoxidil for better results.
Proscar helps made the hair roots stronger...minoxidil let it grow.
I tried Proscar alone since 2009...not satisfying.

But planning to stop the current stock after finish.
Gonna stick to minoxidil instead.

Currently with Kirkland.
Would love to buy Rogaine Foam but only available overseas.

Good reviews on Proscar...especially here ---> http://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/

So I urge anyone who has questions to read or ask there.

And also Country Life's Biotin and then Maxi Hair.

Ask/call any pharmacies.
Some sells Propecia without doctors prescription.

Hyeee I noticed u from the previous comments...yea i know proscar works but im not super comfortable with the dosage ...im still young and i dont want to mess up my libido ..anyway does kirkland work?? i only use em for a month or so..use em now coz its cheaper oh yea u can buy rogaine foam from lowyat-ers that selling em on the forum/...go ask around 1st okie biggrin.gif
*

Bring em young brows.gif laugh.gif

Lucky if anyone here below 30 or below 25.

Still not too late.

Use minoxidil only for a few months.

Kirkland quite cheap and easy to get in Malaysia, IINM.
It's liquid but oily.

Rogaine...foam (buih) laugh.gif
Difficult to buy in Malaysia and pricey.

In 2007, I ordered from USA (e-vitamin) via debit card.
Three(3) bottles = RM240, IIRC.

Here I saw 1 bottle for RM100++ shocking.gif sweat.gif doh.gif

Again...if you're below 30...ACT FAST BEFORE END UP LIKE ME...too late; above 30.

Rogaine foam is not that pricey ...saw someone in lowyat forum sell em for rm100 each...he is a respectable seller btw...
Yea saw palmetto sucks and it didn't have the effect of finastride... im still 21 and im at satge 2 MPB still can be save...thank god...and i saw a significant improvements within 3 months..
*
Nice.

Wah!
Never heard that product before; palmetto.

As long as not Yun Nam Hair Care or Svenson.
Bunch of scam.

RM20K... doh.gif

DIY better and it only cost a few hundreds a year; finastride or minoxidil.
Best of all...results.
