SAPP to have a press conference at 2pm @ its HQ?

Will Bedawi call a snap election if couple of MPs defect??

If i am not mistaken, SAPP is hinting that someone will table a vote of no confidence against Bedawi when Parliment resumes. BN to collapse??

Maybe 30 or so??

Right now its so dangerous to be bottom fishing. Who knows what will happen tomorrow? MCA to announce press conference?? LOL...

These type of events usually trigger a massive chain reaction....

The statement listed four areas of dissatisfaction with Abdullah's premiership:

1) That no concrete action had been taken on the issue of illegal immigrants, despite repeated requests by SAPP and other Barisan component parties;

2) That the government had offered no holistic economic solutions to cushion the blow of the sudden hike in fuel prices, which had greatly burdened the people and threatened further hardcore poverty;

3) That not enough attention had been paid to issues raised by the people of Sabah -- poor delivery systems, corruption, wastage, lack of transparency and accountability -- and that SAPP would have failed in its duty as elected representatives if these issues continued to be ignored; and

4) That the people have lost confidence in Abdullah, and that if he can't perform, he should step aside and make way for another leader to take over.

Before the weekend, CI might break its support level. I don't think anyone will want to speculate/invest when there's political turmoil.

Agreed, these few days will be torrid for BN.

Seems like CI & equities everyday LOW price these days! Thanks to SAPP!

Now PM has no choice but to expel SAPP out from the BN. Sigh, if that happens another 1-2% drop??

I still think there's room to go down. Week high was 1.57, maybe you should target 1.2-1.25. The CI futures right now is pricing a 15 points discount; pointing to more drop in these few days.

Business wise, i think all steel counters will do good until the olympics but cost of oil will have a significant impact on their profit margin. Then again, might be a possible interest rate hike next month. So pick an entry you are comfortable with.

True, SAPP did what it intended to do. But if BN expels SAPP, then it will reveal weakness in the party and rumors are couple of Sabah political groups will follow suit.

Regardless, market will indeed fall AGAIN if this isn't resolve because FF will definitely run!

Yes, SAPP Yong did well. His main agenda was to embarrass AAB. He doesn't care about BN's membership as he wants SAPP to get expeled and to be made a martyr so other Sabah potical parties will join him to form a "Sabahan bloc".

Meanwhile AAB has to expel SAPP so he can quell any rebellion. Unfortunately for him, he's lying with snakes.

This doesn't bode well for investors in the short term. Political turmoil and the likelihood of an interest rate increase next month.

OT: FKLI June 2008 3 days ago high was 1237, now its trading at 1279.
