Technically, yes but other Sabahan parties will follow. Again, this is my 2 cents.

Another stunning move from the Chinese government: China gasoline and diesel prices will increase 18%.

Oil futures tumbled upon the release of the Chinese report.

Shanghai market to crash tomorrow? Black Friday?

This is already expected but now add " X-Tra" long term

Probably, the investor sentiment is very bearish at the moment, hence the big discount in FKLI prices.

Surely now, the DPM's wife will be call upon the stands??

I don't think it will affect the market; but the parliament's morning session will be closely scrutinized by the public. We could see an early downfall of PM.

Technically KLCI has tested the support 3 times in the last 3 days. This time, unfortunately, it will remain below the key support 1200 level if DJIA closes below 200 points or more. There's too much political instability and the US banks credit woes doesn't help either.

I always have a simple rule of thumb; buy when the analyst say sell, and sell when the analyst say buy.

Buy when there's a pullback, sell when here's a rally. These big boys (FF) controls the direction and movement of our blue chips.

I trade FOREX and FKLI and equities in the US. Before you jump in to emini S&P500, you should try our futures (FKLI) first. The range is between 10-20 points normally, so swing trading is possible. But 1 point in Emini is 1 usd. So might be safer.

Which account do you have for emini S&P500?

frankly say, tats why attract me...

Yes, it's 50 USD; the forex emini is 1 usd for 1 pip. In my opinion, you should start locally first because S&P500 is very volatile; much more than our local FKLI.

Stock market is a patient game also.

You need discipline and cool head in stock market.

Not like tomorrow market down 50 points then panic liao and see the end of the world like that. People tend to behave like that. When bullish time, see the sky as limit, bearish time, see no bottom.
Share price is fluctuating everyday but company valuation or provide the return rate to you (in term of dividend of profit) doesn't.

So, people have 2 choice, you buy the share price (you buy the share price only if mean for goreng) or buy the company (you buy the company if meant for long term holding) to get a slice of profit made.
If one buy the share price, then for sure will worry everyday because share price everday is fluctuating, right?  tongue.gif

So it is important those money invested in stock market won't be used at all for at least 5 years and above.

Cherroy is right. Sometimes you need opportunities that come to your way. Not just patience and consistency. It takes hardwork to analyze the stocks you want to invest in for long term purporse: aka Warren Buffet / value investing.

And everyone's portfolio beta is diferent, depending on what he chooses to invest; more risk typically brings in more return. IT's entirely up to you and it depends on your comfort level.

Stick to your strategy, and be disciplined. Rome is not built in one day.

Intraday low for CI is 1191.60. Not bad, i thought it will be far worst than that.

What time is Dewan rakyat sitting? Time for a good laugh.

It seems Lim Kok Thay is not really an angel afterall...

I've never attend AGM before because of time and location factor... Even though I'd like to attend once...

But they shouldn't wrap it up so quickly when the shareholder is still raising questions and hands...

It's more like Chinese style, one man show....

That's because RESORT is going down and he knows it.

When a CEO, CFO, COO tries to cut the press conference short, you know the company is not in a good shape. What's there to hide? Maybe no turnaround plan? Business model is failing, etc. As a stockholder, one has the right to know where the company is going in the future. Not in Malaysia though, many companies just go IPO so that management will be billionaires.
