Guys...

Say the movie last weekend at Jusco Tebrau. 2D, and it blew my mind to smithereens. Mindblasting!

Now thinking of seeing it in 3D. Where are the places that I can go to see it in 3D? Back in KL already.

By the time they become advanced enough to go out to space, the Jakesully guy would've died out for a long time already.

Aiyo, those red and blue are so last decade lah. New one is slightly tinted but you won't really notice it. And the technology behind it is much much better than the old red and blue. And yes, it sits nicely on top of your own specs, though it does tend to slip occasionally.

I know someone who says they keep slipping even though she doesn't wear specs. Apparently the shape of her nose is just like that. laugh.gif

Worse comes to worst, spend the whole 2-1/2 hours holding the glasses up with your hand lor.

This movie is boring, but enjoyed the CGI though.

Dont understand the plot ,why they create AVATAR anyway but in the end they just crush the native and why they cannot teach/educate the avatar in human form????

Anyone familiar with what type 3D format used here in Malaysia. Especially those who have been to 3D screenings in GSC Gurney Penang.

Apparently there's 3 from what I read :

IMAX 3D
RealD
Dolby 3D

AFAIK there's only one IMAX screen in Berjaya Times Square but I heard its only being used for 2D screenings now.

Watched it last night at 11.30pm. Maybe it was bad-timing but I tried really hard not to doze off during the movie.

RealD is used in TGV. Vertical/Horizontal light Polarized glasses, makes it a bit dim for people who are not used to it.

Dolby 3D is used in GSC. Green/Red Polarized glasses, no effect on the brightness.

Edit: Just went for Avatar 3D for the 3rd time, 2nd time in TGV Sunway Pyramid. Same theatre, but different projector. This time they used dolby 3D. WTH.
