arrrg... us speed drop back 20-30kb/s. still slow down at night.

too slow a few days...what happened...

finally i got DC and can't reconnect for almost half hour, current IP is 218.111.5. XXX ...... is still fast but upload is lower (i use a lot upload) ...

On a sidenote, does anyone experience disconnections during rainfall? Very irritating and lasts for long even after the rain stops. Is it fixable or do I have to live with it forever?

it's normal...when rainfall that time..i suspect they go off some equipment..thats y during heavy rain...normally streamyx oso dc ..

my streamyx 512kbps has dropped down to 32kbps!!! i check at the dsl status on both modem (i got 2 set) and still the downstream down to 32kbps? the line is pretty clean i dont hear any noise on my phone and my splitter is ok. i bypass the splitter also the same. from our experience is it modem fault or streamyx fault?

Maybe they capped your DSLAM wrongly? Call them up and ask them.

yes it is the timeouts that is giving problem here

my ping to yahoo is much higher then u .... but connection ok and stable ....
my ping around 300ms - 320ms ...

i rather have higher ping n no timeouts..but im having damn frequent timeouts here, but no lag....but with timeout = i cant do shit...

is it just me or every 5pm on wards the speeds to international sites capped

Don't you hate it when u call them to complaint, they made it sound like the problem is on OUR (client) side?

Turn off firewall... clean out cache... flushdns ....... restart the damn modem ...... turn off ur pc.. use single connection (turn off auto dialer / router mode ) .. plug ur phone off.. etc etc

My surf very great. as if using 2 mbps, friendster page pop up ready in less than 5 seconds but download speed limited to 60kBps, i wonder how they limit us on this?

But at maxis wireless 384 kbps, surf very bad, very slow but download able to achieve up to 80+kBps...

my streamyx problem started since after CNY, precisely CHAP GOH MEH...

everyday i cant even online n connect since afternoon till night... for 2 months...even my neighbour oso same

and now the internet sudenly get slightly better at APRIL...

but i experienced lagging till DC and take me minutesss to load a website...

and sometimes the website stuck there n doesnt move...

already june and my problem HAVENT SOLVE YET!!! 4 months di!!!

I COULD NOT IMAGINE WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS!

i cant even do my work n gaming....so piss...
