Don't you hate it when u call them to complaint, they made it sound like the problem is on OUR (client) side?

Turn off firewall... clean out cache... flushdns ....... restart the damn modem ...... turn off ur pc.. use single connection (turn off auto dialer / router mode ) .. plug ur phone off.. etc etc

Idiots.. hello..the damn ping shows time outs..it's not my damn pc..it's ur server! *bangs head on keyboard* *hope to strange damn screamyx helpdesk*
I wonder if any of those helpdesk even knows what "lag" is.... *sighs* I just call them over and over till they open a report.. Hopefully .. their technician will do something............

Same with raptar_eric i've recorded 4K+ms ping to tmnet gateway (219.93.218.177) .. loads of time outs...........

sighs......... play maplestory lag like shit..play wow.. needless to say i stopped loggin in to wow /cry...

Upstream 36dB, Downstream 24dB .. from the connection status on router / modem page everything looks ok.. normal..

But what worries me is the time outs to gateway server (219.93.218.177) .. and the increase in latency.. it's usually at >20ms or around 30ms max. These few days it has been fluctuating 19-50+ms and sometimes spiked to 200-400ms and once in a while 2000+ or even 4000+ ms.

Downloading is slow as snail.. playing online game is even more annoying.. (I'm an online game addict :S ).

The line stabilize early morning (around 3-9am) and then it turns horrendous again. Sighs.......

P/S: Wah..so weird.. whole day i've been using Speedometer on streamyx websites and my download speed was around 200-400Kbits per sec. Suddenly now it's at 1073Kbits per sec (I'm using 1Mb package).... Did they fix it..or are they bluffing?

Yeah, tm net ppl called me said their technician have fixed the line (I guess they did) .. my download speed has gone back to 1Mb (instead of the 200-400 Kbps) .. there's still time out but at least the latency is better than yesterday.

Does anyone have tracert like this or is it just me? I'm trying to figure out what went wrong with my connection. To be honest, I have no idea how or what to say to streamyx's helpdesk. I've done 3 complaints the last 2 weeks but no improvements so far. International website loading is slow and playing online game is soo frustrating.

Hmm I was using 60.54 ........ i'm gonna try and see later if i can get other ip .. (yesterday I can only get 124.xx and after like 10x reconnecting, 60.54 )..

Download speed is still slow.. and some international websites can't be accessed..........

*Sighs* streamyx is so weird...

Sighs.. I couldn't check my download/upload speed using speedometer before 2am(it just stuck n nothing happened).. And even using speedtest.net said my dload/upload speed was 119-300Kbps / 189 Kbps before 2am.

Suddenly now.. I can check speedometer and speedtest and it looks normal (1 Mbps / 388-400Kbps).

Wth happened all evening? O.O I kept d/c all evening on online game.. alot of time out pinging 219.93.218.177 .. and now..it's smooth as if nothing happened.. sheesh.............

Made a report (the 4th time the last 3 weeks) and I'd bet you..they call me at 10am on Tuesday (2 working days) when the connection is smooth (obviously.. ) and said they fixed it.. (they'll say it's done and they're closing the report.. even b4 i can turn on my pc..).. If i'm lucky..things go smooth for awhile.. If not.. they revert back to the sluggish speed.. after a day (if i'm lucky..3-4 days or a week) .. time outs and whatnot.. sighs...

and the circle goes on and on.... *bangs head on table*
