I prefer having the Beef Lunch set@Sakae Sushi Teppanyaki in Terminal 2 Viewing Mall before I catch the after-lunch flight back to Malaysia.
Beside good food, got very beautiful service staff and excellent cooks who knows how to entertain the customer!

if not wrong, tigerairway will provide free shuttle service from budget terminal to T1/main terminal, others i dunno
*
The shuttle service is FREE for all, coz it's provided by the airport, not the airlines. It's a 24hr service, runs between BT and T2.

Depends on what attractions you are looking for, shopping, hooters & beers, pole dancing, wet T's, chickens, ducks, and what is your food preference and/or religious belief.

Bumping the 3-days old thread tongue.gif

I went through the hotel ranges & prices in Singapore, apparently accomodation is not cheap in SG.

Is either you go for class or budget. hmm.gif

Is it a wise plan to spend RM1000 on accomodation for 3 days? My trip is mainly to visit RWS & Universal Studio. Kindly advise.

you can check this place out.. value hotel thomson and they provide shuttle service to USS. Room rate about S$100 p night.

hotels on sentosa itself will be expensive, so you can opt for cheaper hotels nearby.... http://gothere.sg/maps#q:hotels%20near%20harbourfront

Thanks for being so helpful, wlcling!

I like Value Hotel, Thomson. Top value! And the shuttle service to USS attracted me (It is FOC, right? Didn't see any price mention there) thumbup.gif

Was quoted RM700 for 3 nights for my 2011 travelling.

actually the shuttle service is $8 per person for roundtrip, but if you buy it together with the entrance ticket, its about $5. These are the prices over the counter at the hotel itself

USS entrance tickets only
Per Adult Per Child (4-12 years old)
Mondays to Fridays SGD66 SGD48
Saturday & Sunday SGD72 SGD52

USS entrance tickets & round trip (pick up at hotel and return)
Per Adult Per Child (4-12 years old)
Mondays to Fridays SGD71 SGD53
Saturday & Sunday SGD77 SGD57

But if lets say you take a cab, its about $15, so it'll be cheaper to take cab if assuming you have just nice 4 ppl. There are 2 other branches of this "Value Hotel" along the same road... they are Value Hotel Nice & Value Hotel Balestier. It's about $80 per night and you save about $20 p/night p/room compared to Value Hotel Thomson. For better budget & if you think you should take a cab instead, you can consider staying in either of the 2 other branches instead.

Rooms are clean but a little small. But it's very cheap & value for money. I can't think of any cheaper options unless they are backpackers/hostels or hotels in geylang.

Appreciate your input, wlcling~!! Very useful info.

Since my travelling period is still far, I would be checking out on the upcoming Matta Fair price as well. Hopefully they have a good package for RWS/USS & accomodation biggrin.gif

Next matta fair coming is on 3th - 5th September.

The NorthEast line NE5 Clark Quay too far ah?
Also you can try the just-open Circle line CC3 Esplanade

In the retail shop itself, tell them you are a visitor & they will give you a special kind of receipt looking slip. If not wrong, you just need to bring that slip (and of course the item together for inspection) to the airport's tax rebate counter. They will rebate you on the spot.

actually, best you ask the retail shop itself on the procedures because i'm not sure exactly, but its something like the above.
