T_T Alright. For this first assignment itself, it took more than 5 pieces of the layout pad, redo and redo just to get the proportions right. Plus I'm not the easy to get satisfied type, so I see wrong only, terus new one >.<

I find it abit difficult for me to cope up with Drawing and Design class. I mean being like from a non art background, so its pretty tough T_T

no worries bro..don keep letting all this affect u..just keep trying and u will go through all this..last time i was like this also but..keep learning and learning is the main point.

and go count among the students, how many of them are actually come with art background. =) don let that limit ur creativity

I'm also afraid that if I enter TOA DG/MD, i will not be able to cope with the traditional drawing stuff too.. digital should be okay because I have already get used to it.. about traditional drawing... the last time I drew is like.. 2 year ago? I still remember I attend art class from primary school (standard 1) till form 3... stopped the class during form 4 jan because homeworks and tuitions stuff.... sigh but good thing was, during 2011 year end I met Digital Art, which replaced my interest for traditional art!

don worry bro. perhaps you still havent enter college thats why..as for OH-, he's just there for less than 1 month.. getting worried is normal..

for me i didnt draw at all..i didnt design but i just love design until now.
when i enter, i still can cope with it..my first drawing is even worse than OH-..but, i don see that as a discouragement..in fact i feel glad to enter TOA and learning new stuffs everyday..

not to mention one of the "PUSH" that motivates me a lot is previously i was at Limkokwing for 1 sem..then change to TOA..seeing the difference of both colleges makes me even cherish toa ..

I know I will be able catch up, but I'm abit lagging at the start because of lack of background. It's just that sometimes I very jelly with some of my friends, they get their assignments done pretty quick >.< Like today, first time I hold brush.... use poster colour for design class... Feel so now, my friend beside me like expert liao
As for figure studies, I'm catching up pretty fast, tomorrow I'll upload another assignment which I will be completing tonight
I'm just abit worried about Drawing and the Design class. I'm having a hard time constructing those straight lines and curves (especially circles...) very difficult, I find myself always erasing and erasing
To me, these are my least preferred classes >.<
Figure studies is my number one choice

@Gmruleme At least you got the experience, 2 years ago also still ok. Before this year, my last drawing and colouring was in preschool
But that time hor, if colouring competition I always win XDD
Anyways, do you have any other target besides TOA? Maybe any other overseas institutes?

So many traditional art projects.. how about digital arts.. digital painting and stuffs like that?
I'm really, really reallyyyy weak in traditional art right now..... will shit brix if lecturer keep giving traditional art homeworks like (figure drawing..e.ge.g)

Yes I do have other targets besides TOA... for Malaysia, maybe MMU for multimedia design? (I'm still not sure which path should I take... Digital animation or Multimedia design... really now... Have been thinking for weeks already..) For Singapore, NAFA (nanyang academy of fine arts) or the NSW in Australia..
I'm still researching duh.. (for scholarships and e.g)

hehe bro its totally two different thing. so its quite easy for you to make ur choice.. don always ask urself which one u like..instead ask urself which one u want it to be ur profession? coz hobby and ur future profession are way too different. don let ur "hobby" affect ur future jobs.
