I saw others forum saying that mayb is becoz mounting (probably bush), but I duno wat is it

Dont know is it true...

My car pun got that sound especially when making sudden acceleration.....

BTW this is how the REAL vibration dampener look....the one in red circle...

"klang" sound also got, really headache

When I went over bump carefully, the sound wont come out, and sometime, I also went over like normal, it doesnt have that sound, so the sounds just simply come out like that, and you can't guess when is it will come out

Same case with the brake crashing sound "eeyiiiiiinnggggg" now the sound dissapear already

Another suspect is...izzit the porblematic torgue face by Campro engine. Probably..the IAFM encounter it by puching it up, thus sudden jerk. I got the same problem as yours ut somene mention about dampener on the shafts.

thats not dampener ah...so no point for me to force them to add it into my shafts then since it doesnt rectify the vibration feeling.
Don understand why it call BOOT COVER. Don make sense.

same as u... went slowy no sound but when go through holes and bumps without notice then 'klang'

Heard from my SC its to with some spring coil which doesnt have this dampener unlike Gen2. He just drew me this coil thing & state that ussually a dampenenr is place at the top...but Persona cut off the usage thus result the metal hiting noise when you turn the car & go tro bumps. This teh explanation I got...I'm simply clueless...no mechanic.

so whats the sollution now? aiyaa....feel cheated with proton lah........

hmmm... so THIS is the cause of the problem? I'm having this metal knocking problem as well.. and NONE of the mechanics can determine the problem.

so how to solve this?

i believe there are many personas with this problem but the owners are rather clueless or the SC said something else. for my case, first they said anti-roll bar problem. changed but nothing is fixed. went to other SC they say power steering rack problem. because not enough oil in the rack. bull&@$@..

i feel like sending the car to outside mechanic to get it rectified.

my persona have that problem before.
but i sent to SC when my 1000km service and made a complaint.
they fixed for me, i donno what they fix, but atleast no more metal sound.
my 1000km service at Glenmarie SC.

I already arranged an appointment with COE SC. Let's see what they can do..........I think I can live with some knocking sound but the pedal vibration is really irritating......

these knocking sound.. isit when we hit the bumper hard? my persona also got the sound. i thought it's normal...

btw, my current FC is 6.7l/100km. ok lar..

how come yours FC is 6.7... mine is 8.4 lah... whats wrong ah? i see everyone giving in in 6 liter only for 100km

dunno. some forummer claims more than 10l/100km..

my car now is about 2000km. still long way to go to judge my FC.. huhu

ya lah...mine also >8L/100km depending on the road use.

But relying on the digital meter readings is hardly accurate lah. At such..my meter shows 6.5l/100km but when u do teh actual calculation it sum up to > 8l/100m.
