Anyone know whether the Persona SE will come out this month or not?

wat the ? Persona came out last year, now got SE oledy ?

Heard the SE will be out by this Month. Wait for after 25th ..after federation meeting this month. Likely to annouce price revision or price hike. Persona will hike its price but could be adding some features ..probably the realase of so call SE.

any idea wats the difference gonna be wit the SE?? some bodykit will be cun..

really hope they don't hike persona price, going to book for my self next month....

Oooh...likely to increase in all car price. Not just Persona. Proton's will up its price by Rm3k.
You can get assurance from the Sales Exec.

Was out shopping the other day..got into the displayed Vios & the Sales exec informed that the price remained for till July 08. All Toyota cars will increase by August starting with Vios with an increase RM3k.

Price of steel gone up significantly. Price of rubber gone up too. So is Plastic (PVC, resins etc) as following the oil price. So tell me which part of car is not make of such substance materials.

Anyway..just wait for the federation to decide come this meeting on 25th August 08.

Dont plan to buy next year lah.... Plan to buy as soon. Really prices of material gone up, so car price also growing up. Those wanted to buy base line persona, try to buy it because upon increase price,this Base line model will be stop production as not much profit made by proton.

book now ler.. like me.. just book M-line by paying RM100 at proton-edar

my current case becoming more and more interesting.
today my "dearest" Salesmen from proton Dealer called me
said is to "check" my persona status, and ask me to intro to his shop if anyone want to buy.
when i ask about my gps navigator which i-care already discuss with them.
so this saleman very clever give me a very "good answer"
he said: "we got around 100 unit of persona don hav gps navigator, and u tell proton i-care u already received ur gps navigator."
he thought he is dealing with a kidagarden kid, sorry man im a college graduates. and im worked 2 years in services and management industry.

can u all believe what he told me?? I was LOLX and LMAO, I was so "happy" he give me this "kind of solution".
I already comfirm with proton i-care, proton live(from proton website) and some other proton dealers. that ALL persona H-line comes with GPS navigator....i donno how he make up this 100 unit doesnt have gps and ask me to lie to proton. he as a dealer of proton and his is providing dishonest services.
I called I-care and make an official complaint to a officer and he will take to his high management to kautim with this dealer.

If anything happen to me and my car, i will post here again.
I wont post the dealer name unless they give further bull shit solutions.
If the Salesman happened to be in this thread, please come out with a good solution.
dishonest service, ask customer to lie to proton, make bad impression to their boss(proton)
this is plain shameful and disappointing to have bought my car from u.

thats why i want to claim back. because i already paid for it.
I must mention here. Its the proton dealer's fault not Proton HQ or management fault.
because the GPS doesnt hand over to me from the dealer.
there is something i want to mention:
that dealer said he got several customer also doesnt have the gps.
is several = 100 unit??
and he said some of the customer actually told the proton that they already received.
is this needed? if they blame proton not giving them the GPS, is that needed to ask customer to lie??
Unless they are hiding something.
If proton doesnt send them the GPS, they can shout at proton and make a claim for me.right??
so overall, this dealer isnt honest.
If he give the gps which i deserved and paid, then i might just forgive them and let them go if they apologize.

Actually the navigator come separately, not fixed into the car.You will received a box and inside is the navigator, the size of the navigator is like s Sony PSP, no need to acttached to anything and can work stand alone....


When you received your car you should get it in the same time. and all HL persona confirm have it, becoz if you have read the details of the accessories from the flyer, actually you already paid for it once you book for HL persona, so there is no such things 100 unit persona don't have it. Unless they already dedut upon you apply loan. Means the original prices for Persona HL is RM 56,800 (metalic) RM 56, 350 (solid) and upon apply loan they already dedut RM1030 for the navigator. So you just have to pay RM 55, 770 (metalic) or RM 55, 320 (solid). So you can check out your loan amount to confirm this.

If you pay exactly this prices Persona HL is RM 56,800 (metalic) RM 56, 350 (solid), so it means you should have the navigator. So get it from them, I think most probably they sold it underground and make profit for their own pocket. If you pay the original prices without any dedution from the loan, and the SA stil insist that don't have such things, then you can ask them to do refund for you RM1030.

prob is, dont have the budget 2 get this year.. next year only would have enough cash 2 get one..

yes i paid the full payment.
because i was 1stly book persona around end of february,
during the waiting period, persona IAFM released and i changed the package.
My loan aproved based on 90% of 55k, because the car is 56k(new price)
i pay downpayment of 6k++. so no need to change insurance again.
so i really paid for the gps. if the dealer don hav the gps for me, then pay me back my money. thats all.

Ya...you should chase them. I don't believe that 100 unit Persona don't have this navigator, If yes, they should tell people early and should dedut the money when you pay your down payment.
