order from ebay lorh XD... actually some guy here in the forum have the fans lol.. try using the search button or try googling.. btw the 90CFM fan, i think its more to 70CFM 24-28dBa liao.. but i think this fan is worth it lah... RM30 for a fan that has blue led, silent and pushes 70CFM is quite ok edi, unless u want an Ultra Kaze that spins 3000RPM and pushes 133cfm of air with a dba of 45 =_=, too bad it aint loud as my gpu at 100% fan speed haha xD.. but theres another version of the ultra kaze, 2000 RPM but pushes around 82CFM of air, quite loud also.. 34dBa ..wherelse the most silent spins at 1000RPM and pushes 44CFM of air at 19dBa... all the fans are 38mm in thickness and some guy said its bigger than the original fan size, so better measure ur cpu first.. a lot of people have problems trying to fit these things inside their case when trying to mount it dual but if single should be easy, besides fan is ugly D:.. i prefer the ixtrema lol..

Added on May 27, 2009, 8:05 pmo yeah and i just found a fan that looks cool too, too bad the specs are too little/limited

Xigmatek XLF . A lil cheaper, cfm a lil lower, noise is lower than 90cfm, source from a fren who tried both.

I think Sunbeam fan attach to their CCF also 90CFM (read from their box)..
and not so loud if inside casing.. even quieter than CM (I got one as my intake 120mm)...
when case close... just hear hurm sound (not so loud.. if i switch on stand fan.. not hear it.. but let the computer run at night for downloading purpose.. of course can hear) but dunno which fan produce that...

My fan

intake :
CM 120mm 69.9/90cfm (which one??)
CM 80mm 34cfm (if not mistaken)

exhoust :
CM 80mm 34cfm

internal fan :
Sunbeam 120mm for CCF
2x 80mm Accelero Twin Turbo

This fan is pure rubbish. 90cfm?! lol i wonder it even does 30cfm. I wont even pay more than 5 bucks for this fan.

Have u ever tried putting ur hand behind a fan exhaust where u can feel nothing? This fan can do it. That's what the 5 bucks are for, for the magic show.

Hmm, there's also a possibility how to obtain 90cfm on this fan with 19db. An open area with no air restriction, use a powerful delta fan to blow through this fan, shouldnt be a prob that way to reach 90cfm. In a close case or rad, i bet it wont have enough static pressure to produce above 30cfm.

Get a real fan: http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=getarticle&articID=892

If you feel nothing when putting your hand behind the fan exhaust..means your fan is not moving at full speed..probably coz not enough power..

I've experienced this before..and after changing the power cable it runs at full speed. Besides if you read this thread, there are users who can feel the air being pushed out.

Its not a pure 90CFM fan but also not a pathetic 30CFM fan as what you claimed. Read this thread and you'll know it runs around 60-70CFM..

It looks like you din read the whole thread and posted this rubbish -.-

Well what he mean is when CM 90CFM is use as radiator fan or heatsink fan where there are CFM losses if the design is not good smile.gif

I guess its normal..due to the filter right lol. Btw is it really very loud? I'm using CM590 and I can hear some little noise..but not very loud ><

I've been testing (non-scientifically, just using my hand and my own estimate of which fan has more airflow) a few 120mm (CM "90cfm", Panaflo 103cfm, Silverstone (forgot model #, it came with NT06-Lite heatsink), CM silent fan, CM blue LED (several models), Vizo "UV" LED, CM UV reactive fan), fans for my recent rig builds, and came to the following conclusion:

1. CM "90cfm" fan > Enermax Twister Magma (IIRC rated at 69cfm, correct me if I'm wrong pls).
2. Panaflo 103cfm fan is much more powerful than CM "90cfm" - difference felt a lot more than difference in #1 (so official cfm diff of 13cfm between Panaflo and CM felt more than the official difference of 21cfm between CM and Enermax)
3. CM "90cfm" fan > Xigmatek XLF (the one with white LEDs)
4. CM "90cfm" fan > 140mm CM silent fan (rated at 60cfm)
5. CM "90cfm" fan LEDs still working after >1 month running 24/7 - wondering when it will start to die sweat.gif since I have an older rig with CM LED fans and most of the LEDs already dead (but those fans about 2 years old)

So I concluded using my completely unscientific and inaccurate method that CM "90cfm" is probably (if Xigmatek, Enermax and Panaflo uses accurate cfm numbers) around 75-80cfm. For RM28-30/fan, it's pretty good and powerful, just that you will worry the LEDs won't last.

I currently have 8 of them running in 3 different rigs. One rig (CM590) has 5 of them (3 exhausting - top 2x, rear 1x; and 2 intakes - side window, HD cage) and it has allowed me to have CPU (E6600 overclocked, Zalman 9700) full load temp at 45-47C in ambient 30-33C, and GPU (9800GT, Zalman VF900-Cu) full load temp at 51C.

On a side note: of all the fans I tested, the Silverstone was the most powerful (it was a thick one = 38mm width), I forgot the model number, but it was bundled with their NT-06Lite heatsink. Definitely a "finger-chopper" fan if you're not careful. Kinda noisy at full power too.

Actually I used to buy RM10-12 Icute fans and they give much better air flow compared to CM 90 cfm fan smile.gif Sometimes we need to know these companies don't make fans but is made for them by another company. They just label the fans up as their own product.

Sorry but I'm actually commenting on this statement:

It sounds like you are saying "This fan can go nowhere near 30CFM"..

A forum is for people to argue, comment and share info..it doesn't mean that I can only comment on what TS posted lol..

If you feel offended then I'm sorry and I mean no offense but still..to me.. that statement above is rubbish tongue.gif

But I have no comments about "In a close case or rad, i bet it wont have enough static pressure to produce above 30cfm." laugh.gif
